We are really pleased to support this initiative - it’s so important for our community. It allows people to meet others in a safe warm environment whilst eating some delicious home cooked food. This is free to all however donations are always welcomed. A donation box is available but not in show for anyone else to see how much or little is donated. The idea is it to be accessible to all but those who are in a position to contribute can !

Tracy Turner wins Great British Businesswoman of the Year award!

We’re thrilled to announce that our founder and director, Tracy Turner, has been named the winner of the Entrepreneurial Businesswoman: Sustainability & Impact category at the Great British Businesswoman Awards 2025.
The Great British Businesswoman Awards celebrate the UK’s most inspiring female leaders. This prestigious national award recognises Tracy’s dedication to service innovation, business growth, and making a meaningful difference in the community. It’s a fantastic achievement that highlights the impact Turners Occupational Health and Wellbeing Services has on businesses and individuals across East Anglia.
Tracy’s journey began after 40 years in nursing, when she founded Turners in 2017 as a small kitchen-table start-up. Since then, our business has grown into a thriving family-run enterprise, with a dedicated team of 14 offering a wide range of health and wellbeing services.
"To receive this kind of recognition at this stage of my career is incredibly rewarding. Sitting in a room filled with some of the biggest global companies and sharing the stage with such inspiring business leaders was an experience I never could have imagined when I started this journey. It’s a true reflection of everything the team and I have worked so hard to build, and I couldn’t have done it without them. Their dedication, passion, and belief in what we do have been the driving force behind our success. I’m excited about the future and the many ways we can continue to support businesses and communities across Norfolk."
At Turners, we are passionate about helping people live healthier, happier lives. Our services range from occupational health and wellbeing support to ear and foot care, menopause training, and counselling. Don’t forget, you’re always welcome to come and visit us on Attleborough high street to chat to the team about your health and wellbeing needs.
Thank you to our clients and community for your continued support—this is just the beginning!

Please VOTE for Turners Occupational Health and Wellbeing in the Small Business Awards!

I don’t know if other business owners can relate but when you’re so busy ploughing forward you forget to take stock of what you’ve achieved.

Being up for an award is not something I ever imagined as I launched the business at my kitchen table 7 years ago. However, it's been a joy to look back on all the hard work and I’m hugely proud of what we’ve built and the impact we have.

To be recognised in the health and wellbeing category means so much to the team and I, and we’d love your support to help us win. If you’ve been part of our journey or love what we do, please take a moment to vote for us.

As I flick through the TV Chanel’s it’s difficult to find any good light hearted humour or any feel good movie I have not watched before . It has made me question if this itself has had an impact on our mental health ?

The Impact of TV Dramas on Mental Health

The rise of gritty, realistic dramas has undeniably influenced the landscape of television. While these shows often explore complex social issues and offer thought-provoking narratives, their focus on violence, abuse, and mental health struggles can have a significant impact on viewers' well-being.

Research suggests a correlation between exposure to violent media and increased aggression, anxiety, and sleep disturbances.

For individuals already battling mental health issues, such content can exacerbate symptoms like depression and anxiety.

Moreover, the constant bombardment of negative portrayals of mental illness can contribute to stigma and hinder help-seeking behaviors.

The Case for Lighthearted Programming
In contrast, lighthearted and comedic shows can offer a much-needed respite from the constant barrage of negativity.
Laughter has been shown to reduce stress, boost mood, and strengthen the immune system. By providing a sense of joy, escapism, and positive emotions, these shows can contribute to improved mental health and overall well-being.

The Accessibility Issue
However, the question of accessibility arises. While streaming services offer a plethora of diverse content, free-to-air television remains a primary source of entertainment for many. With limited options and a focus on ratings, free-to-air channels often prioritise sensationalist and dramatic content, potentially neglecting the need for lighter, more uplifting programming.

The Role of Choice and Balance
Ultimately, the responsibility lies with individual viewers to curate their own viewing experiences. By making conscious choices about what to watch, viewers can strike a balance between engaging with thought-provoking dramas and enjoying lighthearted entertainment.

However, for those who rely on free-to-air television, a greater emphasis on diverse programming, including more lighthearted content, could significantly benefit mental health.

In conclusion, while TV dramas can be a powerful medium for exploring complex social issues, it's crucial to acknowledge their potential impact on mental health. By encouraging a balance between serious and lighthearted content, particularly on free-to-air television, we can foster a more inclusive and mentally supportive viewing experience for all.

The injection can cause slight discomfort but it is not a painful injection. Some redness can occur at the injection site however, this is unusual
Possible side effects include although rare from B12 can be mild diarrhea, upset stomach, nausea, and joint pain. Vitamin Patches
Regain Your Energy & Greet Every Single Day
All of our patches are suitable for Vegans, Vegetarians, and they are Soya Free and Gluten Free. They are not made with any animal products. Our hypoallergic transdermal patches deliver active ingredients directly into your bloodstream, via the skin, bypassing your stomach. This means that the problem with absorption in the stomach is overcome. They are delivered quicker and are slow release giving a steady amount. With each pack, you receive 16 patches- giving 8 weeks- 4 months supply depending on the patch.
Our body can work efficiently only when the daily nutrition needs are fulfilled that includes both vitamins and minerals. The daily need of vitamins can be met through diet and food, however with ever increasing busy schedules and lifestyles, the body can be deprived of the essential vitamins and minerals such as B12, Vitamin D, C, K2, Zinc and Magnesium. In order to help we developed the unique system of having all these ingredients in our vitamin supplement patches.
Since the absorption of nutrients are inter dependent, so it is important to give proper nourishment to your body, so that you can live to the fullest. To make life easier, we have come up with the concept of the vitamin patches that will aid this process.
They should be worn on the skin, most people put these behind the ear/neck or on the arm/shoulder or upper chest. You should rotate the site frequently. Leave patches in place and remove after 24hrs.If Using 2-3 times a week leave a day free between wearing a patch. Rotate the patch each time you wear it.
Vitamin D3, Vitamin C and Zinc Patch
Amount of Vitamin D3 : 5000IU
Amount of Magnesium : 250mgs
Amount of Vitamin K2 : 120mgs
Amount of Zinc : 15mgs
Amount of Vitamin C : 100mg
Vitamin C and Zinc play important roles in nutrition, immune defence and maintenance of health. Intake of both is often inadequate, even in affluent populations. Research has shown that zinc supplementation may reduce the overall burden due to common cold among healthy adults.

Vitamin D3, K2 and Magnesium Patch
• Strengthens Bones
• Increased Immune System
• Amount of Vitamin D3: 50000iu
• Amount of Magnesium: 250 mg
• Amount of Vitamin K2: 120 mg
• Amount of Vitamin B1: 100 mg
We need to optimize our Vitamin D levels and of course sun exposure is the best source, however it may be that many people are unable to acquire enough from the sun and therefore require supplements. Combining Vitamin D, K2 and Magnesium has a greater effect on Vitamin D levels, than either individually.

B-12 Energy Patch – 5000 mcg
Increased Energy Production
Amount of Vitamin B12: 5000 mcg
Amount of Folic Acid: 400 mcg
Gluten Free and Vegan Friendly
The B12 is delivered though the skin and straight to blood stream. This bypasses the stomach and gut where tablets are normally absorbed. This helps with absorption.
