New class for 2026 πŸŽ‰
Qi gong and Tai Chi Ch'uan classes starting on Friday the 23rd January, every Friday from 10-10.45am.

What is Qi gong?
Qi gong is a broad Chinese practice of "energy work" that uses coordinated movements, breathing, and mental focus to cultivate and balance life force energy (qi) for health and healing.

Tai Chi Chuan (Tai Chi) is a specific, more complex form of Qi gong that originated as a martial art but is now widely practiced for its meditative and health benefits. While similar, Tai Chi is more structured and requires greater coordination, whereas Qigong can include simpler seated or standing meditations and more fluid, less sequential movements.

There will be adaptations in the class and participants can choose to either to a standing or seated practice.

We will be commencing with the Winter season and the Water Element from the Taoist Five Element System.

I only have a couple of spaces left for the class starting, if you would like to book please drop me a message. The classes are at a reduced cost of Β£4 whilst I complete my Qigong Teacher Training.

Seasonal Yoga Flow is back on Tuesday the 6th at 6.30pm, the class is currently full. If you would like to be added to the waitlist please let me know.
We will be working on our winter postures, with some grounding breathwork and relaxing meditation to end the class.
Looking forward to seeing you all after the Christmas break, although I have to confess I have had a lot of chocolate so class might be a bit slower (not sure if I can currently do a forward fold) πŸ˜‰ πŸ™πŸ»πŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
