After a busy morning supporting our communities, team ACDI (Auchinleck Community Development Initiative enjoyed a well‑deserved break together. We took a few hours to relax over a lovely buffet lunch and share some laughs during our Secret Santa.
Moments like these remind us how important it is to look after one another, celebrate our hard work, and stay connected as a team.

💜💜A Huge Thank You to The Killie Community💜💜
Today we were delighted to receive 50 comfort boxes from The Killie Community.
Our team spent the morning distributing them to individuals and families in need across the Auchinleck community, ensuring they reached those who could benefit most. We also passed a number of boxes on to Netherthird Community Centre.who will continue sharing them with local residents.
Acts of kindness like this make a real difference, especially at this time of year. We’re grateful for the support and proud to work alongside partners who share our commitment to community wellbeing.

What a fantastic day yesterday, full of laughter, great food, and even better company! Our P.I.C.s were out in full festive spirit, making it a brunch to remember. 🥂🎅 & Alan from Shire popped in for dessert😁

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming the lovely Jane from Visage Beauty to ACDI Recovery! She treated some of our ladies and Kerr to eyebrow waxing, with Kerr stealing the show by proving it’s not just for the ladies🥰
This is the first of many visits we have planned with Jane, each offering a different treatment. We cannot thank her enough for her kindness and generosity in supporting our recovery community. 💜💜

Yesterday a few of us enjoyed a lovely morning at Dumfries House making Christmas decorations! Since September, we’ve been working with Trellis Scotland on gardening workshops and exploring the beautiful Dumfries Estate gardens. A huge thank you to Joan Wilson from Trellis for welcoming ACDI Recovery over the past few months. and we look forward to working with Joan again soon.

We’ve discovered a new passion for gardening — its therapeutic benefits are helping us grow in recovery as much as in the garden.
