5 Reasons you should sack your coach,

You can start doing random unstructured workouts that achieve nothing,

You can guess with your nutrition and be wildly wrong,

You can be confused about knowing whether to bulk or cut and end up not doing enough of either

You’ll have noone to hold you accountable so you won’t be consistent,

Weekly physique update

This combination of bright light and pale skin is doing me no favours whatsoever.

These untracked days are becoming a bit of a habit by the looks of it. Had a lot on at weekends over the past few weeks, and in all honesty I could’ve tracked them but I just decided I didn’t want to.

It would be different if I was in a fat loss phase but my goal right now is to simply gain muscle and strength without getting fat.

What I did instead was keep my food intake lower on the tracked days to account for any over eating on untracked days, and on those untracked days I only ate 2/3 meals (albeit calorie dense meals) so it probably about worked out.

In the past I’ve made the mistake of always feeling like I need to eat more in gaining phases and therefore over a weekend like last weekend I’d have still been eating 4/5 meals per day.

The reality is that all I’d be doing is gaining unnecessary body fat that I’m going to have to lose again.

Don’t get me wrong, I think “dirty bulks” have a place in some situations, but right now it’s not something I’m interested in doing.

Looking forward to getting back to my normal diet today, give me eggs and sourdough over a takeaway any day 😂

I’m not saying James is soft…

But when he came up to Scotland last weekend, I knew we had to see if he had a set of b*lls on him.

So before our latest client photoshoot, I dragged him to for a proper welcome (you’ll see when you watch the full video on YouTube)

Now you know I’m not a big fan of ice baths,

But it’s a good test of how big your cojones are.

Ironically they’re actually really small after the ice bath but that’s not the point.

Afterwards we headed to the gym, to see our clients step in front of the camera after months of hard work.

Wow, the fitness industry truly is full of some absolute sh*t at the minute.

You’ve probably either tried or at least been tempted to try some of the above before.

There is no shame, who can blame you for looking for a quick fix when you’ve tried to lose fat so many times before

And every time you’ve come up short and had nothing to show for it.

Infact, you’ve probably ended up fatter than when you started, how the f**k did that happen?

But no matter what you’ve tried in the past, we all want the same outcome.

That’s a six-pack for the guys and a bikini body for the girls…

Apart from , he’s always wanted a bikini body.

Instead of trying to sucker you in with the next best fat loss hack or quick fix, we are just going to cut the bullsh*t.

You probably recognise my client Murray…

The guys in the kebab shop do, he’s boss man to them.

Yet despite still being a regular the mans still shredded.

And that’s the reason I’m posting him again and again.

Not because he likes a cheeky takeaway, but because he keeps progressing more each time.

You see he didn’t come to me looking for a 12 week transformation,

He came in with a long term mindset.

He put his trust in me and did what he had to do.

Because let’s be honest, what else could he do?

Keep going around and round in circles?

Unsure what macros to be hitting,

Or if his training plan was working…

Kidding himself on that his physique is fine the lightings just bad 🥴

Yeah f**k that.

He was ready to commit and do things properly.

After starting out at 71kg, skinny fat and unsure what direction to go,

We bulked him up to 84kg and added some muscle tissue.

He then dieted down to 64kg getting leaner than he had before, but we still had some work to do.

Next time around we did a lean bulk which ended at 71kg

And now after 90 weeks working together,

He’s completed his first photoshoot,

And he’s leaner and more muscular than ever before.

Still the boss man,

Just a more shredded version.

Now you might be thinking to yourself that achieving something like this is out of reach for you,

Or questioning whether or not you could stick to the plan for as long as someone like Murray,
