It is with a heavy heart but great excitement for the future that I announce that Focus Physiotherapy and Performance in Augher is now closed.

13 amazing years of my career were poured into the clinic and took me to my current role in Aspetar, where I’m loving every minute of the challenge.

This coupled with 3 young kids and a fourth to join us in the summer just means I don’t have the time I once had to pour into the clinic that it needs to remain world class. This is also twice as difficult from across the world.

I’m immensely proud of what was built, my previous staff and the journey that it took me on as a clinician and a business owner.

I want to thank every person who crossed our doorway over the past 13 years and to every person I have had the privilege of being part of your rehab journey. You have shaped my career immensely and I am entirely grateful.

I will continue to use this page going forward for all things physio/ research/ the female athlete! Hope you stick around 🙌🏻

Our lower limb rehabilitation class in returning this Thursday at 7pm

This class is designed for those all with long term injuries.

This is a coach led strength based class to guide those through their rehabilitation.

If you’re someone coming back from a long term injury this is the perfect group environment to get involved with, keep motivation high and get that competitive edge back.

We are pleased to announce that Lewis has returned to join our team for a second placement for the next five weeks. Lewis is a final year student Physiotherapist studying an MSc in Physiotherapy with Sport and Exercise Medicine at the University of Bradford. Lewis is currently undertaking our internship programme. He has previous experience at Ballymena United doing massage and pitch side first aid. Lewis currently co-hosts The Student Physio Podcast' and is a student ambassador at Physios in Sport.

This pathway will bring you right from injury through to return to performance with set targets and KPIs for you to hit to ensure your rehab is successful.

In addition to this we will have a specialised Shoulder Rehab Class starting Thursday 26th January led By Orlagh which will complement your ongoing rehab

The pathway integrates our specialised performance testing equipment and best evidence to give you all the tools you need to make a successful return to sport
