JOINT INJECTION 💉 Clinic -

Osteoarthritis is a common condition causing pain and stiffness in joints. It most commonly affects knees, hips and hand joints – although other joints may also be affected.

It is likely 1 in 10 adults have osteoarthritis of the hip and likely 1 in 4 have knee osteoarthritis.

HOW DO JOINT INJECTIONS WORK?
A joint injection allows medication to be delivered directly into the joint capsule. Steroid injections can help reduce inflammation within the joint therefore reduce pain and improve function.
