BACP Accredited Psychotherapist providing Counselling and Supervision
Based Avebury in Wiltshire I can support you with bereavement, relationships/couples counselling, stress, adoption issues, mindfulness training. When things go wrong in our lives our “logical mind” goes into “catastrophe mode” and we experience negative thoughts that make us feel stuck, under-confident, frustrated and worried ab

out the future. (i.e: sad, angry and fearful)

As a BACP-Accredited Psychotherapist, I use an Integrative approach to help clients’ feel safer, calmer, more supported and restore their ability to move forward with their lives again. As well as running my own Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice, I also work part time for a large Employee Assistance Provider as a Clinical Assessor. This means that I am frequently dealing with matters of work related stress, relationship problems and bereavement issues over the telephone. My role there gives me experience of assessing clients’ risk and helping them find ways of resolving their issues, either by telephone counselling or onward referral for face-to-face counselling. I have been working with private clients for over 15 years and have over 3,000 supervised client hours of experience to help people with relationship issues/mediation, stress management, depression, anxiety, phobias, sexuality and issues of loss, bereavement and redundancy. Based in the delightful village of Avebury in Wiltshire I can offer 121 sessions in person or via phone or Skype at times to suit your commitments. Tel: 01672 539471 / 07836 355900 or email: apollothefirst@aol.com

All calls and emails are dealt with solely by me, so you're assured of complete confidentiality.

My latest blog explores how to manage stress and anxiety this festive season.

This year has thrown the world into economic uncertainty and caused stress levels to rise. Using my S.A.F.E model I explain how we can acknowledge our moods, be at peace with our Logical Mind and enjoy this Christmas.

Find out more with the link below. Let me know your thoughts!

COVID-19 has caused many of us negative change and added stress to our lives. When we are under stress the Logical Mind goes into “catastrophic thinking mode” and begins to seek out the “worst-case scenario” in order to prepare us/have a contingency plan for the future.

I am delighted to announce the launch of my new website! I wanted to refresh my wesbite and showcase my services, conveying my professionalism as well as desire to help others.

Now clients can perform my S.A.F.E model questionnaire online and discover their hidden emotions guiding behaviours and thoughts. This allows them to get the most out of counselling with me and begin their journey to a happier future.

Please take a look and explore the website. You may even see my face a few times!
