Bring us your prescriptions and a member of our team will take care of the rest. We accept oneoff prescriptions from your GP, as well as repeat scripts for medicines you take on a regular basis. As part of our specialist services, we can safely dispose of unwanted or unused medicines on your behalf.

In 1975, brothers JC & Kirit Patel MBE started a journey with a single pharmacy, which has grown into a vital healthcare provider in local communities across the UK. A family-run business built on care, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to our mission: to help people stay healthy and feel better.

From humble beginnings, we’ve reached incredible milestones, expanding to over 240 pharmacies, serving millions of patients, launching innovative healthcare services, and investing in digital transformation to better support our communities. We've nurtured generations of pharmacy professionals and remained proudly independent throughout our journey.

Today, we mark this incredible 50-year chapter with gratitude in our hearts and hope in our vision for the future.

Our Co-Founder, JC & our Executive Directors – Rupa, Jay, and Sam are sharing heartfelt reflections on our legacy, the values that continue to guide us, and the exciting road that lies ahead.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our adored colleague, Peter Glover, on 10th May 2025....

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our adored colleague, Peter Glover, on 10th May 2025. Peter was a cherished member of the Day Lewis family for 37 years, having joined us as a Pharmacist in June 1987.

Throughout a distinguished career, he held numerous roles, including a previous position as Group Superintendent Pharmacist. He was also a core member of our Senior Management Team. In recent years, Peter moved to a Professional Services Advisory role, where he generously shared his vast knowledge and experience with both long-standing and new colleagues.

His contributions to the pharmacy industry were immense. He was much loved and respected by all who knew him.

Peter's legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the positive impact he made on so many people, inside and outside of Day Lewis. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
