These 4,000 year-old stones in Orkney, Scotland predates both the final stages of Stonehenge and the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Dating back to approximately 2500 BCE, it originally consisting of 60 stones (27 of which still stand). The circle spans 104 metres in diameter and is surrounded by a rock-cut ditch that was hand-excavated into the sandstone using only antlers and stone tools.
