Today we celebrate six years of Legacy Funeral Services Aylesbury.

Six years of supporting families at the most difficult time in their lives. Six years of trust, compassion and standing alongside our community when it matters most.

Like any independent business, the journey hasn’t always been straightforward. We’ve faced challenges along the way. Including confusion in the past with funeral directors of a similar name, but through it all, we have remained focused on what truly matters. Caring for local families with dignity, transparency and genuine personal attention.

We are still here.
We are still independent.
And we are thriving, because of you.

To every family who has placed their trust in us, every colleague who has given their all, and every member of the Aylesbury community who has supported us, recommended us, or simply spoken kindly about us...... thank you!

Today we had a very special visitor at Legacy Funeral Services — Keith, Tess’s much-loved rescue Chihuahua 🐾
Keith popped in to see us and completely stole the show, bringing plenty of smiles, warmth, and lots of cuddles. Moments like this remind us just how important comfort, compassion, and positivity are both within our team and for the families we care for.

At this special time of year, all of us at Legacy want to pause and acknowledge the families we have had the honour of caring for throughout the year.
Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for those who are grieving, and our thoughts are very much with every family who has entrusted us with the care of their loved one. It is a privilege we never take lightly, and we remain deeply grateful for the trust you placed in us during some of life’s most challenging moments.
As the year draws to a close, we remember each life, each story, and each family we have walked alongside. You are not forgotten, especially at this time of reflection, love, and remembrance.
From our family to yours, we wish you peace, comfort, and gentle moments this Christmas. If you are finding this season hard, please know that you are always in our thoughts.

We have an ever growing, amazing bunch of incredible volunteers here at Emmett's Genies. Being an entirely volunteer run charity, these wonderful humans are essential and we couldn't do what we do without them!
Today, like every November, we hosted a volunteers thank you party to show our team how much we appreciate all their hard work. Here are the some of our volunteers, the lovely bunch that were able to join us today ⬇️

Today I was invited to a lovely thank-you tea and cake gathering with Amy, Zoe, Emmett, Ida, and the wonderful team from Emmett’s Genies. Everyone knows how much we love this amazing charity at Legacy Funeral Services, so it was an incredible honour when Emmett himself asked me to become an official ambassador for the charity.

I was genuinely touched to be asked and incredibly proud to accept the role. It means so much to be able to support a cause that’s so close to my heart. 💛✨
