Therapy can feel a bit like building a bridge.

You might feel as though you’re standing on one side - overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, or stuck in patterns that are hard to shift. You can see how you’d like to feel: calmer, clearer, more in control. But the space in between can feel wide and uncertain.

That’s where therapy comes in.

It isn’t about rushing across or pretending the gap isn’t there. And it’s not about someone else carrying you. It’s about building something solid and supportive, together.

We take time to understand what’s underneath the stress or anxiety. We strengthen emotional foundations. We gently create new ways of coping and responding that actually work for you.

Step by step. At your pace.

Over time, what once felt daunting becomes steadier. The bridge holds - because you’ve built it.

If you’ve been standing at the edge for a while, unsure whether to take that first step, you don’t have to do it alone.

✨The week can ask alot of us.
Deadlines, responsibilities, holding it all together…
Sometimes we carry more than we realise.

This weekend, give yourself permission to rest in the moments that are yours.🧡

Many people live with anxiety in a way that isn’t obvious to others. Life carries on, things get done, but underneath there can be a constant level of effort that rarely switches off.

If this sounds familiar, you can take a look at my latest blog to read more.

Some people live with anxiety in a way that is not always obvious to others. Life continues. Work gets done. Responsibilities are met. From the outside, things may look steady and under control.Often this does not look like anxiety in the way people expect. You may be someone who keeps going, meets....

Most people I work with are insightful, self-aware and intelligent.
They understand why they feel the way they do.

And yet… the same patterns keep showing up.

That’s because insight happens at a conscious level,
while many emotional responses, habits and reactions are driven by the subconscious.

This is why talking, analysing or “thinking it through” can often only take us so far.

When we work with the deeper part of the mind, change often feels less forced -
more like something settling, rather than something being pushed.

Feel free to reach out if you would like some support.

Do you understand where your anxiety or reactions come from but still feel stuck? This short read explores why understanding isn't always enough for emotional change and what actually helps shift patterns.

Many people reach a point where they understand themselves quite well. They know where their anxiety comes from, why they react in certain ways or what they would like to feel instead. And yet something still feels stuck. You might find yourself thinking about the same things over and over, reacting m...

💫 Not every pattern that keeps us stuck is logical.

Most people understand what they should be doing.
They’ve thought it through.
They’ve talked it out.
They’ve tried to change it consciously.

And yet, certain patterns still repeat.

That’s because many behaviours, emotional responses, habits and reactions are driven by the subconscious - not the logical mind.

Hypnotherapy works by gently accessing that deeper level, allowing change to happen in a calmer, more natural way.

You’re fully aware and in control throughout.

For many people, this is where change finally begins to feel possible.

If you're curious to know how hypnotherapy could help you, please do contact me and I would be happy to answer your questions 🙂

When you’re anxious or overwhelmed, everyday things can start to feel hard.

Progress isn’t about pushing yourself into big leaps.
It’s about taking steady steps and slowly rebuilding trust in yourself.

One honest conversation.
One boundary.
One kind choice just for you.

That’s how you begin to feel more capable.
And that’s how life can start to feel easier.

What could your one small step be today? 👣

Still waiting for things to feel different this year?

We’re part way into January now and if it isn’t turning out how you hoped, you’re not alone.

Change doesn’t happen just because the calendar changes, or because we made big plans for it to. It usually begins with small, gentle shifts that feel manageable.

If today feels like a good moment to begin again, you can start from right where you are.

If you're feeling a bit stuck, overwhelmed, or just not quite yourself and you’d like to explore some support, you’re welcome to message me to find out how I can help. 💛

As we slow things down and settle into the festive season, I just wanted to take a moment to wish you a very Merry Christmas 🎄

To those of you I’ve had the privilege of working with this year, thank you for your trust, openness and courage. It has been an honour to be part of your journey.

To those I’ve worked with in the past, I hope you are doing well and taking time to rest, reset and be kind to yourself.

And to those I may work with in the future, I look forward to supporting you when the time is right.

However you’re spending Christmas, I hope it brings moments of calm, comfort and connection, and maybe a little time to simply chill (taking inspiration from my very relaxed festive assistant 🐶).

Wishing you a peaceful Christmas and a New Year filled with balance, wellbeing and gentle new beginnings 💫 Marie xx

🎄As Christmas approaches, try creating a wish list that isn’t about gifts at all - it’s about how you want to feel as the year closes.

🙏Maybe it’s:

• A clearer mind
• A steadier breath
• A deeper sense of connection
• More trust in yourself
• An easier start to January

Naming what you want to feel helps your mind find small ways to make it happen.
A quieter, more intentional way to round off the year.🧡

Ever notice how one small worry in December can snowball faster than it would at any other time?

It’s not you - it’s the season.
There’s more noise, more pressure, more moving parts. And when life gets busier, the mind often follows.

But here’s something that can make a real difference:

🖐Pause the spiral before it gathers speed.

When you catch your thoughts starting to stack up, try:

• Taking one slow breath, just to interrupt the rush
• Saying out loud (or quietly), “one thing at a time”
• Asking yourself, “what actually needs my attention right now?”

These tiny resets don’t remove the stress - but they stop the feeling of being swept away by it.

A small, steady pause can bring the whole day back into focus.
And in December, that’s a gift in itself. 🧡

✨🎄There’s a busy energy in the air right now but the real reset often hides in the tiny moments we almost overlook.🎄✨

Those small, steadying pauses:

That first warm sip before the day begins.
The breath you take when you pause at the door.
The quiet little win of finishing something simple but satisfying.

This week, allow yourself to notice those moments when they appear.
No pressure to share them.
No need to make them anything more.
Just small pockets of calm that belong to you.

It’s surprising how much those brief, quiet pauses can lift the whole day. 🧡
