As we slow things down and settle into the festive season, I just wanted to take a moment to wish you a very Merry Christmas 🎄

To those of you I’ve had the privilege of working with this year, thank you for your trust, openness and courage. It has been an honour to be part of your journey.

To those I’ve worked with in the past, I hope you are doing well and taking time to rest, reset and be kind to yourself.

And to those I may work with in the future, I look forward to supporting you when the time is right.

However you’re spending Christmas, I hope it brings moments of calm, comfort and connection, and maybe a little time to simply chill (taking inspiration from my very relaxed festive assistant 🐶).

🎄As Christmas approaches, try creating a wish list that isn’t about gifts at all - it’s about how you want to feel as the year closes.

Ever notice how one small worry in December can snowball faster than it would at any other time?

It’s not you - it’s the season.
There’s more noise, more pressure, more moving parts. And when life gets busier, the mind often follows.

But here’s something that can make a real difference:

🖐Pause the spiral before it gathers speed.

When you catch your thoughts starting to stack up, try:

• Taking one slow breath, just to interrupt the rush
• Saying out loud (or quietly), “one thing at a time”
• Asking yourself, “what actually needs my attention right now?”

These tiny resets don’t remove the stress - but they stop the feeling of being swept away by it.

For many people, this is the point where the season starts to feel a little heavier than expected and if that’s you, it’s perfectly okay to notice it.

Before things build any further, here’s a small kindness you can offer yourself:

Choose ONE thing you usually push through and make it lighter.

That might look like:
• Asking for a little help
• Simplifying a task that’s been weighing on you
• Moving something to a calmer day
• Or quietly letting go of something that isn’t essential

Small adjustments really can shift the feel of the whole month.

I’ve just returned from an incredible training experience in South Africa, and I’m excited to share that I’m now a certified NLP Coach.

The course was inspiring, and I’m so grateful to Terry Elston and his team for creating such a welcoming and energising space to learn in. The whole experience, including the stunning surrounding was genuinely unforgettable.

Integrating NLP into my work alongside Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy and EMDR adds another empowering layer to the support I offer. It opens up even more ways to help people create meaningful shifts, break old patterns and move towards who they want to become.

I’m really looking forward to bringing these new skills into my sessions.

🌟 Stress is not always the enemy. Sometimes it is a messenger 💌 and sometimes it is a motivator ⚡.

We are often told that stress is harmful and that we should avoid it completely. The truth is, stress plays different roles.

💌 As a messenger, stress is your body and mind’s way of saying that something needs to change. It might be telling you to slow down, to rest, or to put stronger boundaries in place.

⚡ As a motivator, stress can give you the push you need. A short burst of stress can help you focus, energise you, and encourage you to take action. Think about the way a deadline helps you complete a task, or how a little nervous energy can make you perform well in a presentation.

✨ The important part is recognising which role stress is playing in your life. Ask yourself: is my stress guiding me to make changes, or is it giving me the energy to move forward?

🌱 Stress is not always your enemy. When you begin to understand it, it can become a powerful ally.
