🎨Summer Children’s Creative Club
🗓️Every Friday in August
🕒2.00pm to 4.00pm

Join us here at Avondale this summer for our complimentary children’s art club! Let your children explore their creativity, make new friends and brighten the day for our residents with their wonderful artwork and company. All materials, light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Please note that children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Today, we celebrate the beautiful bonds formed within all of our care homes 💛

From shared stories over a morning cup of tea to a bit of friendly competition with a game of scrabble, friendship is at the heart of everything we do.

Recently, it was Children's Art Week, and everyone here at Avondale Care Home, Aylesbury used it as the perfect opportunity to spend time with the children from our local primary school and create some beautiful artwork for our home with them!🎨🖌️

It was so fantastic, we even held a live exhibition so everyone could admire the pieces👀😄⭐

Recently, some of our Avondale Care Home, Aylesbury residents took a trip to the Natural History Museum at Tring!

Everybody had a great day out, and it was amazing to see and learn about historical moments from the past! Afterwards, we went to have a bite to eat and a drink!📜⌛☕

We set up our home earlier this month and held a party for Wimbledon! It is always thrilling watching the live matches, so it was so much fun having everyone gather in our garden and bistro to watch. And, of course, there was plenty of strawberries and cream to go around!🍓😄

Thank you to our talented kitchen for the lovely themed cake and to everyone who visited and helped out⭐🫂

From cosy corners to big, open spaces to lounge in, we paid attention to every space while refurbishing our home💙

Thank you to the wonderful team at The Care Home Interiors Company for working with us to carefully plan every detail when it came to redesigning our home. It is clear to see that comfort and serenity are our main priorities ☺️💭

Our residents had a wonderful time watching the balloons being tied into whatever they asked for! From a crown to a dog, everyone had the best time! 😄🎈
