Heritage & Sons Funeral Directors Heritage & Sons supports families across Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.

With homes in Amersham, Aylesbury, Bletchley, Buckingham, Tring, Wendover and Winslow, our caring team provides personal, professional help when you need it most. Through our work as Community Champions we hope to challenge and change out of date negative perceptions of funeral directors by working closely with the communities in which we work. We are more than just a funeral director and have been a family business for over 330 years. We are dedicated to making a difficult time that little bit easier and carry our philosophy that every life is unique in every aspect of our lives. We intend to make a valuable contribution to our local communities and to continue to break down the taboo’s surrounding the work of a funeral director.

📍 Heritage & Sons, Aylesbury – Every Wednesday, 10am-12:30pm at Buckinghamshire Community Wellbeing Hub, 59 Walton Street, Aylesbury HP21 7QG

📍 Haine & Son, Hailsham – Second Monday of each month, 10am-12pm at 46 South Road, Hailsham BN27 3JQ

📍 Shires, Sandy – Fortnightly Thursdays, 2pm-4pm. Next session: 22nd January

💜🧸 Meet Emma

Emma's mum is a resident at Hulcott Nursing Home . After meeting our Community Champion, Maria, she helped organise a visit with our Never Alone Buddies.

There were smiles, laughter, and one resident's daughter left so inspired she's picking up her knitting needles again.

The buddies are now ready to be placed around the community for someone to find, each carrying a simple message: you're never alone.
