Clear Aid

Clear Aid We are two serving fire fighters who have a passion for teaching first aid. Welcome to Clear Aid. A First Aid training company.
(1)

We have two trainers, Robby and Chris, who are currently serving fire fighters. They have countless real life experiences to draw upon whilst training. Both instructors are trained as advanced trauma practitioners and they also have high level teaching qualifications. All First Aid courses can be taught at your place of work or at our venue in Potters Bar. We cover every first aid course available on the market at great prices. We also offer parents a chance to do a 3 hour course on emergency first aid for children. It is very affordable at £20pp, and not only covers first aid, but also covers common illnesses in children. The website is worth a look and has an easy email section where one of the trainers will make themselves available to you.

Life-saving allergy pens must be stocked by schools for the first time under new plans announced today (5 March 2026).

The move will also see compulsory training for teachers and a requirement for each school to have a dedicated allergy policy.

Life-saving allergy pens must be stocked by schools for the first time under new plans announced today.

Burkholderia cepacia complex (BCC) has been identified in sterile and non-sterile wipes following manufacturer recalls. Contamination is usually linked to water systems and biofilm formation during production, with BCC able to survive preservatives.

First Aid and What to Do:
1. Monitor closely after any water-related incident, even if the person seems fine at first.
2. If any symptoms develop, call 999 (or 112) and explain that the person may have inhaled water.
3. Keep the person sitting upright to help with breathing.
4. Do not lie them down, as this can make breathing more difficult.
5. Be ready to start CPR if they become unresponsive and are not breathing normally.

🚨💚 Public Defibrillators – Now Even Easier to Access 💚🚨

Did you know? Many public defibrillators are no longer kept in locked boxes – meaning in an emergency, every second counts and you can act immediately.

👉 If someone collapses and is unresponsive:
1️⃣ Call 999 and start CPR.
2️⃣ Send someone to grab the nearest defibrillator.
3️⃣ Open it up and follow the voice prompts – it tells you exactly what to do.

These life-saving devices are designed for everyone, not just trained professionals. By removing locked boxes, access is quicker and lives can be saved.

⚡ A defib + good CPR = the best chance of survival after cardiac arrest.

Would you know where your nearest defibrillator is?
