Plan Your Cleansing for the Solar New Year: Remove and Cleanse Cures on the 1st February during the next full moon

My favourite way to cleanse my Cures and Enhancers is always under a full moon, and luckily, the next full moon will be on the 1st of February this year, making this an ideal time to cleanse any cures and enhancers that you will be reusing during the year of the Fire Horse.

I would recommend cleaning your existing cures and enhancers that you will be using for 2026 on the 1st of February, and leave them outside or on a windowsill overnight. There will be a two-day overlap with the Flying stars changing, although you can place these out of sight in the area where they will be placed for the year of the Horse, so that they are ready to place on the 4th. Leave any cures in place that you won’t be reusing in 2026 and then remove them on the 3rd or 4th of February.

To cleanse your cures and enhancers, start by removing any physical residue—gently wipe, dust, or rinse water-safe items, then let them fully dry. Where you place them to be in view of the moon will depend on security and weather conditions; if you live in an apartment, try to place them on a balcony or windowsill overnight. If you live in a home and have dry weather, you can leave them outside on a table overnight.

Please be careful when cleansing metal and fabric cures, as water can damage these.

If you aren’t able to cleanse the cures under moonlight, here are some other options:

Wipe metal cures with salt water and fully dry.
Air out items in sunlight (where safe)
Smoke cleanse such as sage, incense or palo santo.
Sound cleanse, such as bells, singing bowl or clapping.

Tasks to help you prepare for the 4th of February 2026 - The Solar New Year

https://www.fengshuiweb.co.uk/how-to-prepare-for-the-solar-new-year-4th-february-2026

The 14th of January marks exactly three weeks to go until the Annual Flying Stars change in every building around the world, changing the influence in different areas of your home and business.

From experience, I know that it can be all too easy to leave the Solar New Year until the last minute and give everything a quick clean around the home and remove the cures from the previous year.

I started writing a short article last night on steps that you can take this week to prepare for the 4th of February, although this quickly turned into a much more in-depth list of tasks that I will be doing this week around my own home and office and steps that you can too.

You can click the banner below to find the full article of tips on how to prepare for the annual stars changing on the 4th of February 2026.

I hope you enjoy reading this article as much as I did writing it.

Best wishes,
Daniel

In 2026, the highly inauspicious and disruptive annual #7 star will fly into the southwest, and when left untreated or not properly weakened, it can bring misfortunes related to theft, deceit, misunderstandings, quarrels, and general bad luck for the occupants; this is especially important for females during 2026.

This Rice Cure functions similarly to a traditional salt water cure by absorbing and neutralising negative Qi that the #7 star can bring.

Are you celebrating your 12th, 24th, 36th, 48th, 60th, 72nd, 84th or 96th birthday in 2026?

If you are born under the year of the Horse, you will encounter your Ben Ming Nian year in 2026, which is said to bring setbacks and challenges.

I always advise to take this with a pinch of salt, as alot can be done to negate this influence and I have personally had a fantastic time during my Ben Ming Nian years so far!

you can find the full article below if you want find out how to make your Ben Ming Nian year a successful and rewarding year.

Appease Tai Sui in the south of your home and workplace in 2026.

When you anger Tai Sui, he can bring problems to all occupants of the home related to health, finances, legal problems, family disputes and accidents.

It is especially important to Appease Tai Sui during 2026 if you have an important room in the south, as this is where Tai Sui and the annual #5 star will be located.

The animals most at risk of clashing with Tai Sui in 2026 are the Rat, Rabbit, Horse and Rooster.
