Meet Ahmad

Ahmad is one of our physiotherapists here at EPM and has been with us for over 2 years now working in Aylesbury and Tring.

Ahmad loves to help people get back to what they love but his passion lies within cricket.

Right now he’s juggling clinic, ultrasound training, Ramadan fasting, AND triathlon training - so if you’re injured and trying to stay active while fasting, he genuinely gets it.

Ahmad is in Aylesbury every day except Wednesday where you can find him in Tring.

Today is Sophie’s last day with us, and the whole team is feeling sad she’s back off to uni!

Sophie has been with us for 6 weeks on placement from Bucks New University, and she has been an absolute pleasure to have around. She came in keen, curious, and full of great questions - and leaves as a genuinely skilled clinician in the making, someone who’s already treating patients way beyond her years.

We asked her a few questions on her last day.

Run More, Hurt Less 🏃‍♀️💨
What a brilliant evening!

We kicked things off with a presentation on smarter running and injury prevention, handed out our Elite Physical Medicine t-shirts, and then hit the road with 3 running groups to suit all abilities - nearly 50 in total 🤯🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us — the energy, the community, and the smiles made it such a success. Big shout-out to for hosting and to for supporting the event.

This is just the beginning — here’s to running more, hurting less, and enjoying the journey together! 🖤

🏃‍♂️💪 Endure24 Conquered! 💪🏃‍♂️

This weekend, Tom took on the legendary Endure24 – a 24-hour trail relay race – as part of a team of four. Each runner clocked over 30 miles, battling hills, torrential rain, mud and night running. 🌲🌙☀️

It was also fantastic to see so many familiar faces out on the course, including runners from On The Run, Aylesbury Vale Runners, and Thame Runners – great representation from our local running community! 👏🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Whether you’re recovering from injury, building mileage, or training for your next challenge – we’re here to help you go the distance. 🏁

Elite Physical Medicine at Oxford Brookes! 📍🩺

On April 2nd, Andy & Tom delivered a hands-on POCUS (Point of Care Ultrasound) seminar at Oxford Brookes University! 🎓✨

🔹 Covered the physics behind ultrasound imaging 🔹 Explored its benefits in MSK practice 🔹 Looked at real case studies & common pathologies 🔹 Live demo + students practicing their own scans!
The students were fantastic—engaged, inquisitive, and eager to learn! 🙌

An overdue welcome to Francesca and Belle!

Belle joined the team in December and Francesca joined in February!

Francesca, with a BSc in Biomedical Science & MSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham, has extensive NHS experience across spinal, respiratory, and musculoskeletal care. She’s also an elite athlete, competing internationally for Great Britain in triathlon & equestrian sports. From top 6% finishes at Ironman 70.3 World Champs to winning a bronze at the European Triathlon Championships, her athletic background fuels her evidence-based approach to physiotherapy.

Belle, a Distinction graduate in Physiotherapy from Oxford Brookes University, has a strong foundation in sports biomechanics. She’s completed multiple triathlon events, including the Portugal Ironman in 2024. Belle is also an avid showjumper, competing Internationally with her horse Junior. Belle’s passion for sport led her to work with the Oxford Quins RFC and the USA Mixed Open Touch Rugby World Cup team. After her own ACL injury, she understands the journey of recovery firsthand and helps others rebuild strength and function.

Together, they blend their expertise in physiotherapy and sports to provide personalised rehabilitation and help patients achieve their goals.
