I didn't realise until I got to the gym this morning that it's International Women's Day! The gym was decorated with purple balloons and quotes on the gym studio mirrors. And I even got a purple wrist band 💜

Doesn't the sun just make such a difference to our mood?! 😍
We've had a few glorious days of sunshine, so I seized the opportunity to encourage my client to go into her garden while the snowdrops were still out 🌸 It's the first time this year she's been able to go outside for various reasons but mostly due to the relentless rain 🌧😞.
Being outside has hugely benefited her...
💙 Improved well-being & mood

💙 Reduced stress & anxiety levels, therefore reducing high blood pressure
💙 Just feeling the fresh air on your skin and hearing the birds sing 🐦 enhancing relaxation

How is it PANCAKE DAY 🥞 again already??!!

So my day started with cooking my client pancakes for her breakfast 😋.... as I have done now for the past 9 years 🥰 she's a very traditional lady who wouldn't let such an occasion pass by 😉, I don't blame her, who doesn't just love pancakes? 😊.

And my day ended with another client who's been poorly recently, but is on the mend and I was able to take her out in her wheelchair for the first time in a few weeks, which gave her much joy seeing all the snowdrops and daffodils 🥀🌸🌿🌱

Yesterday I met an Afghan dog (first time for everything 😅) at my clients house, whilst supporting her to host a lunch for her friends. The dog was beautiful and so gentle, and I'll be watching out for her at this years Crufts! 🐶🐕🐾

Happy New Year to you all!!!!
It wasn't the best start to 2026 for me... I came down with a horrid cold/flu which took ages to clear, but I'm finally back to 'normal' 😉 and glad to be getting back into a routine after the chaos of Christmas and New Year!

Today was definitely not a day to be supporting my client on a walk, so we stayed in the warm indoors with a hot chocolate, puzzles and dominoes!
How sweet are these puzzles?! 😍
