We hear a lot of people asking, “Why are so many more children and adults being identified as neurodivergent these days?”

The truth is beautifully simple.

As Dr. Devon Price puts it: “We’re not seeing more autistic people. We’re just finally seeing autistic people.”

✅️ We’re getting better at listening.
✅️ We’re getting better at recognising differences instead of dismissing them.
✅️ We’re getting better at understanding what people have always been experiencing.

There isn’t a rise in neurodivergence, there’s a rise in visibility, compassion, and knowledge. And that’s something to celebrate. ✨️

I’m so sorry that autistic folk and their families are having to listen to this bu****it from Trump. Autism is not a “horror show” the real horror show is a world that refuses to understand, accept and support neuro-divergent people and who treat differences as deficits.
