What's for lunch?..

Today, after a consultation with a client, where she said she felt empowered after our last session, and where we saw progress and improvements in this session, I, too, felt very empowered.💪🏼🌟

Why?

🌟 I love inspiring others to eat healthy and exercise regularly.
🌟 I love the power of diet and exercise and how nutrients help our bodies function well.
🌟 I love helping others improve their health.
🌟 I love it when a client is feeling happy and empowered.
🌟 I love the job I do.

This makes me feel empowered 💫😊

So my nutritious lunch included rocket leaves, mackerel, mixed beans, sundried tomatoes, lime juice and zest, walnuts, evoo, honey mustard dressing....

Between Big Food and Big Pharma, we're just being tossed about. Change is needed.

Between Big Food and Big Pharma, we're just being tossed about. Change is needed.

We must fix the food system and create a healthier nation.

It makes more sense to address the root cause of chronic disease and prevent healthcare interventions in the first place than to try and fix them after the fact.

In fact, cheap food turns out to be very, very expensive. Chronic disease is costly. And kills millions.

But that is only a small part of the total cost driven by our food system. Chronic disease is just one spoke in the wheel among many consequences of our current food system.

Add to these costs the real cost of the environment, economy, climate, social justice issues, poverty, education, national security, and more, and this number grows dramatically.

This just about sums it up. YOU have to take control and take care, swim against the current, don't get swept along.

Attended another superb seminar today from , this time, it was on Adrenal and Thyroid Health.

This is a fascinating area of health and applicable to so many of us. I can certainly say that I have not seen a client where stress was not a factor!

The way that the human body functions is complex and wonderful. Nutrition looks at the science, the mechanisms, and the evidence. We can do so much through diet and lifestyle interventions, targeting the root cause to bring back balance and function.

Thank you for another fantastic day of learning lots, and ...

Quick easy nutritious and delicious lunch.

Cook sliced purple cabbage in a pan with evoo, garlic powder, sea salt, add some chopped tomatoes, add glorious grains from

Serve with chopped olives, and fresh strawberries and sprinkle some parsley.

For me, olives and strawberries are a great combo (since I tried it on a piece of toast many years ago and thought mmm...👌😋) the salty and sweet works in many other foods, why not olives and strawberries, right?

So if you try it, let me know what you think of this super contrasting flavour combo 😃...

Reflection Time..

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. As we approach another New Year, it's a great time to do some reflective practice. I do this at the end of each year and have my own list of questions I ask myself and journal, which I'd like to share with you.

🔹️ Describe the year in one word
🔹️ What felt tough this year?
🔹️ What lessons were learned?
🔹️ What felt joyful?
🔹️ Who gave me what I needed?
🔹️ How do I bring more of what felt good into the new year?

If you want to have a much deeper reflection, there are loads more questions you could ask yourself (see link in story).

Wishing you all a wonderful, very Happy Healthy New Year 2026! 🌟✨️💚
