Tear Trough and Cheek Treatment

Quite often people come in requesting tear trough fillers and don’t realise that part of their problem is actually cheek volume loss too. This patient was treated over 2 sessions adding volume to the cheek area initially and followed up with a tear trough filler.

The tear trough is the area between your cheek and lower eyelid. As we age, we lose volume in this area sometimes causing under-eye dark circles to appear. An effective tear trough treatment is to inject filler into this area – restoring the lost volume and reducing the appearance of dark circles.

As shown in this patient, Filler is a quick, safe and natural way to fill the trough and hydrate the area.

The key to this treatment is actually to underfill because the filler attracts water, the results continue to improve for 2 weeks after treatment. So although you can expect immediate results following the treatment the optimum results are seen 2 weeks later.
