We were proud to celebrate the official opening of our brand new potting shed at Byron House Care Home 🌿

Designed with our residents in mind, this beautiful new space is more than just a garden feature – it’s somewhere to connect, create, and enjoy the simple pleasures of nature together. From the first cup of tea in the sunshine to welcoming special guests, it was a truly memorable day for everyone involved.

Moments like these reflect what matters most to us – creating meaningful experiences and a place where residents feel valued, inspired, and at home.

Our brand new potting shed is now open 🎗️👒🪏🪴

Today we celebrated the grand opening of our new garden potting corner. It was a complete team effort to bring this space to life.

We were honoured to have Nidhi Mehta, Aylesbury’s Mayor join us to officially cut the ribbon. We were also delighted to welcome Tara, one of our Director ar Westgate Healthcare who joined us to show her support for this wonderful new addition.

The afternoon was filled with community spirit, it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day ☀️🕶️

A huge shout out to Matt our Maintenance Man, Linda our Activities Lead and Donna our Head Chef for all their amazing work 🌟 we could not have done this without you.

Myself and Lucie from Head Office were kindly invited by Marie from CPJ Field (Heritage and Sons) to visit Aylesbury Vale Crematorium for a ‘break the taboo’ tour, exploring what happens throughout the whole process. We both found it incredibly informative and left with knowledge and peace of mind regarding the respectful and dignified care given to loved ones.

Byron house Cookery Club. We have always loved our baking and our tasting sessions afterwards. But yesterday we started our Byron cookery club and proudly wore our new aprons. We made rhubarb crumble with rhubarb fresh from a local allotment. After baking, it was time for a coffee and to look through our recipe books for our next bake. Coffee and walnut cake was voted our next bake

Another wonderful visit from Debutots this week!
From engaging storytelling to bubbles and interactive games, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was lovely to see both generations getting involved and sharing the experience together.
