There are lots of myths about hospice care. We’re here to set the record straight.

Hospice is a type of care - caring for people at the end of their lives, making them more comfortable, and caring for the individual.

We'll be busting myths so that you feel informed and confident having meaningful conversations about hospice care with others.

Partners from the very start: thank you, Gallagher Group.

As we wrap up another successful Christmas Tree Recycling campaign, we want to shine a spotlight on one of our longest-standing and most valued partners: Gallagher Group.

From the very first year of Christmas Tree Recycling, Gallagher Group have been right there beside us. Their support hasn’t just helped the campaign grow year on year they continue to make it sustainable, impactful and rooted in shared values.

By ensuring that every tree collected is responsibly recycled and repurposed, Gallagher Group play a vital role in reducing waste and supporting environmental sustainability. It’s a practical, hands-on commitment to protecting our local environment whilst turning what could be landfill into something positive and purposeful.

But what really sets Gallagher Group apart is their long-term commitment to community. Year after year, they show up with the same generosity, energy and belief in local causes. Their partnership is about more than logistics or resources; it’s about backing initiatives that bring people together, support compassionate care, and make a genuine difference close to home.

Because of partners like Gallagher Group, our Christmas Tree Recycling campaign has become a much-loved community tradition, one that supports hospice care while caring for the planet at the same time.

Thank you, Gallagher Group, for standing with us from the very beginning, for your environmental leadership, and for your unwavering support of our community. We couldn’t do this without you! Same time next year?

Our Story

We were founded in 1991 and a year later celebrated our official opening with HRH Diana Princess of Wales. Since then we have expanded to offer patient and family support, a range of occupational and complimentary therapies, and a drop in centre, as well as our inpatient facilities.
