💛 Another organisation has joined our Heart Safe Location initiative!

👏 A big congratulations to Armac Group, who have installed a Powerheart G5 defibrillator at their Yard Office in Coventry. By putting lifesaving equipment on site, they’re protecting their workforce and community in the event of a cardiac emergency.

Armac Group is already known for their commitment to safety, and this step takes it even further.

We’re proud to announce that has officially joined our Heart Safe Location scheme.

By installing a Mediana A15 defibrillator and choosing to make it publicly accessible, they’ve taken a vital step towards protecting not just their patients and staff, but the wider community too.

Sudden cardiac arrest can happen anywhere, at any time. When every second counts, having a defibrillator on-site can be the difference between life and death.

Kent Family Medical’s commitment to emergency readiness sets a brilliant example for other healthcare settings. Becoming a Heart Safe Location is more than just a title. It represents a proactive approach to saving lives, improving awareness, and showing true leadership in community care.

A huge well done to the entire team at Kent Family Medical for achieving this status and helping to create a safer future for everyone.

Why do builders need a defibrillator? 👷🏻‍♂️🧱

Construction work is physically intense, often carried out in high stress environments, extreme weather and a high risk of electric shock. That puts workers at higher risk of sudden cardiac arrest, no matter their age or fitness.
build Ltd now have a defibrillator on-site to make sure they’re prepared if the unthinkable happens. Because when lives are on the line, waiting for an ambulance isn’t an option.

We were proud to join Dominic King on BBC Radio Kent to talk about our campaign, a vital conversation around the barriers women face in cardiac emergencies.

During the interview, we shared a shocking truth: 2 in 3 bystanders hesitate to give CPR or use a defibrillator when the casualty is a woman. Why? Because of fears around removing clothing, being accused of inappropriate behaviour, or causing embarrassment. That hesitation can cost lives.

Our campaign, launched in collaboration with Jenny Legg (founder of ) and the brilliant Women’s Team, exists to challenge these stigmas and open up honest, necessary conversations.

We spoke about:
• Why women are far less likely to receive CPR or defibrillation
• The public’s response to the campaign
• The social stigma that stands between women and equal emergency care
• Why we need education, not hesitation, in cardiac arrest situations

Every second matters in a cardiac arrest. A bra shouldn’t be the reason someone dies.

We’re grateful to BBC Radio Kent for helping us shine a light on this issue. Let’s keep the conversation going, and let’s save lives.
