Last week I had 2 groups of deaf/hearing impaired students. I had 2 sign language interpreters for each group. A good day was had by all and I even managed to learn a few words in BSL!

It’s been so long since I last posted, been a busy little bee!

The lovely Glebe House Nursery, were kind enough to host me over the weekend. What a lovely group and they showed some great skills 😀

During the pandemic lots of our sessions turned virtual. We picked up a client some 150 miles away. They have asked to remain with us having virtual training.

Their next zoom session is today: best bit about virtual working….. no one knows your hiding your fluffy socks and slippers out of camera shot! 😂

My son works part time in a kitchen. Last month he received a nasty burn from a hot grill.
He was the inspiration for the first blog post of the year on treating burns.

We have been so busy with courses in recent weeks and my spare time has been taken up with my new addition! 🐶 🦴

Then the usual festive season mayhem hit. 🎄 I can only apologise for the lack of updates!

I’m afraid the rumours about me stopping open courses (for individuals) at the weekend are indeed true. We ARE still trading don’t worry 😉 but I will no longer be able to offer courses for single people to book onto. This is purely down to family commitments and a need to get a better work/ life balance for the weekend.

It has been a really busy week. Our small team delivered 9 courses this week.

Everything from life support for Dr’s, safeguarding for nurseries,and epilepsy training for schools and colleges.

Do you ever get the feeling, that my least favourite admin job is shredding?!

This little lot is expired course paperwork. It actually only relates to 10 weeks of courses but for some reason every time I go in the office I put this job off!

Off to today’s GP session now, so must try and actually get round to it tomorrow! 🤣
