🐾✨ A New Year Visit from Harley! ✨🐾

Shannyn, our wonderful housekeeper, brought her adorable dog Harley to visit a couple of our residents at Greenan Manor. 🐶

It was such a heart-warming start to the year, with smiles, cuddles, and plenty of furry joy spreading throughout the home! 🫶

Pets really do make everything better! ❤️

🥣 Taste Test Fun at Greenan Manor Care Home! 🥣

This week one of our colleagues, Julie, organised a fun taste test with our chef Grant, colleague Jaime and Manager Joe.

They sampled two wheat biscuits and two branded Weetabix… and let’s just say it caused plenty of laughs and surprises! Everyone guessed wrong, but they all agreed on one thing - the Aldi version was the favourite! ⭐

Score so far: 1–0 to Julie! 🏆
And the fun doesn’t stop there… next Friday’s challenge is crisps!

We love these little moments that bring smiles, laughter and great team spirit to our home 💙😊

🎶✨ Musical Memories at Alloway Parish Church ✨🎶

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful outing to Alloway Parish Church for a heart‑warming Musical Memories session. The music, atmosphere and familiar tunes created a lovely space for relaxation, reflection and happy reminiscence 💛🎵

There were smiles all round as everyone joined in, listened, and shared special moments together - a truly uplifting experience for all ⭐🥰

🐰🌼 Bunny Luv is coming to Greenan Manor! 🌼🐰

We’re excited to bring a heart‑warming afternoon of cute animals and family fun to Greenan Manor on 12th January 2026 at 2:30pm!

Our residents and colleagues are looking forward to welcoming some adorable furry friends, including bunnies, a duck and even a cheerful little tortoise. ✨

This lovely experience is always a favourite, bringing smiles, calm moments and plenty of joy for everyone. It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy gentle interactions and a warm,
friendly atmosphere. 😊

We were delighted to welcome the Dementia Arts Trust to Greenan Manor! Our residents enjoyed a wonderful session full of creativity, colour, and inspiration. 💖🖌️

It’s always a joy to see the smiles, laughter, and proud moments as our residents explore their artistic talents alongside colleagues and friends. 🌟🎨

🎶✨ Dancing to the Piper! ✨🎶

There was plenty of toe‑tapping and smiling at Greenan as our residents enjoyed a wonderful performance from a talented piper 🎵💙

The music filled the room with energy, and it wasn’t long before everyone was swaying, clapping and even dancing along. Our colleagues loved seeing the joy it brought — moments like these truly lift the spirit and bring us all together

A huge thank you to the piper for creating such a memorable afternoon. What a fantastic way to brighten the day! 🌟

Our residents were treated to a fantastic performance — a traditional sword dance that filled the room with energy, rhythm and excitement 💙🗡️

The music, the movement and the atmosphere had everyone smiling, clapping and enjoying the moment. Our colleagues loved seeing how much joy it brought to our residents, creating a truly memorable experience together 🎵😊
