I recommend most of my clients to limit their exposure to technology in favour of day light, face to face chats, voice calls, Mother Nature and also to avoid Bezos and to shop local. Yet the first thing I do when they leave is ask them to get on their phone to leave me a review!
I’m blessed to have ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on Google!
I struggle with the time in takes to do all the social media stuff whilst teaching, seeing clients 1:1, community engagement sound baths and in schools, Pure Dancin’, being a mum and time to love my family and friends!
The best reviews I receive when I do Soundbaths in schools for pupils and staff is that they ask me back! ☺️
They don’t leave reviews on Google, Facebook or Instagram!
It’s always exciting to chat to kids and staff about their health and wellbeing but also I love the science behind sound, frequency and vibration!
I love talking about Mother Natures medicine cabinet where ALL of our medicines originate. The history of Botanical Oils and how they were used by the Greeks and Egyptians. They extracted the essence, the personality from roots, flowers, trees and are used in perfumes, skincare products and teas.
The Greeks recommended massage for competitors in the Olympic Games. We know Egyptians loved reflexology and massage because they’re a hieroglyphics depicting it. Indians use a 3000 years old system known as Ayurvedic Medicine that focuses on balancing mind, body and spirit through massage, yoga, meditation, herbs and minerals. Traditional Chinese Medicine incorporates a holistic approach focused on balancing qi through acupuncture, herbs, massage and diet to promote and restore harmony to the body’s delicate system.
Scotland has a rich history of shamanic practices cloaked in secrecy and lost due to the influence of religion and politics. Healing was focused on the apothecary; nature, herbs, plants, animals, minerals like crystals, oils, tinctures, massage, music, drumming, dancing and water therapy.
I’m skilled in treatments that are grounded in ancient knowledge that is effective in restoring homeostasis, treating the whole person, balancing the mind, body and soul.
Before moving to Ayr and becoming a Teacher I lived and worked in Glasgow at a lovely wee place called Willow Trading (where I worked with Claire from Orchard Clinic Paisley ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) and (Lynne from Hummingbird Wellbeing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) at The Harvest Clinic. It’s lovely to see their success blossom over the years ☺️ Look them up if you can ✨
I introduced the West Enders to La Stone Therapy (contrast therapy using hot/cold basalt stones) and a beautiful rhythmical 2 hour facial from Dr.Hauscka Treatment with the dreamiest of skincare products and I leaned into breathwork, rhythm and anthroposophy. I used Tibetan singing bowls in all of my massages knowing the calming and soothing effect it had on clients back in 2004!
Skincare has become a righteous path of anti-aging which I’m not averse to but I just love my plants, botanicals and nature too much!
We are blessed to have so much knowledge in order to take care of ourselves, each other and the planet. 🌏
The responsibility ultimately lies with ourselves. ❤️
The I.
When individuals start to take responsibility for their health and wellness it doesn’t mean doing it on your own!
We all need help, support, coaching, a hand in the right direction, a chat or just an ear to listen.
That’s why I keep on doing what I do, steadily, consistently, often quietly, not always visible or online but always with heart since 2004.
