⭐️ FAMILY FIRST FRIDAY! ⭐️

Visuals packs all made and ready for delivery to the wonderful Family First team who support young people to engage in education 💜

These packs will ensure that the entire team are consistent with their use of Boardmaker and include:

- visual timetables
- lanyard symbols
- Zones of Regulation feelings check-in cards
- now & next boards
- Family First social story
- ‘I Am Working For…’ boards

We hope the Family First team find these packs useful in the new school session 💜

Congratulations to Gaiety2 who are now Communication Friendly! 💜👏

Gillian and Jade were delighted to receive their plaque and have it proudly on display at their creative engagement hub in Arthur Street, Ayr ☺️

If you are looking for a Communication Friendly performing arts group, Gaiety2 is your place! 👏 Their environment is fully visualised with Boardmaker symbols, the staff have completed Total Communication training encompassing Makaton awareness and lanyards, social stories and communication boards are also available 💜

Gaiety2 is located around the corner from the Gaiety Theatre at their creative engagement hub in Arthur Street - this wonderful team delivers a wide range of theatre and performing arts classes for all ages 💃🎤⭐️

👏 FANTASTIC FRIDAY! 👏

A big well done to Braehead Primary who have worked so hard on their Learning Environment this session.

Clear and consistent signage is on display throughout the school - we especially love their visualised school values and use of Boardmaker symbols to represent different genres of books in the library ☺️ It is super to see visualised wall displays too and photo door signs of all staff members.

We are looking forward to their badge visit next week! 💜

Belmont Academy have been working really hard this year on visualising their wider school environment ☺️

The use of teacher door signs, Boardmaker school ‘maps’ for the location of different departments and consistent signage ensure clear visualisation across the school 👍 It is super to see all these visuals in place ready for Bump Up Days in June and the new S1 starting after summer 👏

Next stop…classrooms in August! ✏️📚

Congratulations to NHS Ayrshire and Arran’s Community Links Practitioners and Improving the Cancer Journey facilitators who are now Communication Friendly 👏

The wonderful Community Links Practitioners work in South Ayrshire GP surgeries to provide support to people experiencing non-clinical issues to make small changes that could benefit their health and well-being ☺️

The brilliant Improving the Cancer Journey facilitators do a similar role but support people who are affected by a cancer diagnosis 💜
