Big hearts at Biggart! 🥰

The amazing team from Biggart Hospital are gearing up to stride out at the Glasgow Kiltwalk this year and they are raring to go. 🙌

Connie Murray, Team Leader of the Stroke Striders, told us: "We are a team of Occupational Therapists, nursing staff, physiotherapy, speech and language therapist and admin staff who work within the stroke rehab unit.

"We are being joined by OT and physio staff from other care of the elderly ward areas in Biggart to raise money for CHSS.

"Working with people who have had a stroke and their families and carers we are very much aware of the impact it has and the support the CHSS provide both within the hospital and community setting.

"We also work closely with Donna and Joanne, CHSS Community Support Coordinators and the services they provide are vital to patients and their families, when they receive a stroke diagnosis."

We can’t wait to cheer them on, every step of the way! 🌟
