World Stroke Day: Raise Awareness, Save Lives

Today is World Stroke Day. Strokes can happen to anyone, at any time.

One in four strokes affect working-age adults, and around 400 children in the UK have a stroke each year.

Recognise the signs of a Stroke:
• Face – Can they smile? Does one side droop?
• Arms – Can they lift both arms? Is one weak?
• Speech – Is their speech slurred or muddled?
• Time – Time to call 999

An update on Anne-Marie. We are proud to announce that Anne-Marie has completed her charity challenge. Her original goal was 3K but she actually completed 5K with a mixture of walking and cycling.
Well done to all those who participated.
