Dalmellington Care Centre Doon Care Centres' official Facebook has been created to keep all friends and family our home involved with what happens in our home on a daily basis

We are dedicated to providing our residents with the best care along with the courteous, understanding and friendly attention to enable clients to enjoy a high quality of life. Our staff care for individual needs and make residents time with us as rewarding and active as possible. Doon Care Ltd provides nursing, residential, respite and day care for elderly people with physical frailty, dementia, confusion and physical disabilities, as well as those in short or long-term convalescence. The home is set in picturesque Ayrshire beside the River Doon, moments away from Loch Doon castle, and close to both Ayr and Prestwick Airport.

I would just like to take a minute to thank all my team at Dalmellington Care Centre.

Our staff go above and beyond to care for all our residents with dedication passion and love.

As a Manager in care homes for over 40years I can honestly say my team are very unique. We work very hard and we sometimes go a bit nuts when we monentarily off the cuff go mad 🫣🫣
But the smiles it puts on our residents faces is worth the madness.😂

We are family we look after each other and my team deserve to get spoilt every now and then..Today I was very spoiled by them and very humbled by the gifts I was given. I was hoping for a ba ocean view balcony on a 7 day cruise but I suppose that was pushing it slightly 🥰🥰🥰

Tomorrow we will be extremely busy making sure our residents have a great day and experience the christmas celebrations so if it takes ys a wee bit longer to answer the door please be patient we will definently come and let you in
