What is a Medik8 Chemical Peel?

Can I just have 1 peel to improve my skin?
A single peel can deliver rejuvenating results, but for long-term visible results, we recommend a course of 6 peels. Just like a fitness routine, consistency delivers the best outcome, helping to deliver progressive results that are tailored to your skin needs.
Are peels suitable for everyone?
Medik8 peels are designed for most skin types, with a range of intensities, from our Sensitive PHA Peel (ideal for delicate skin) to our mono peels (for stubborn concerns).
What's the downtime?
Everyone’s skin responds differently, but at Medik8, we take steps to minimise downtime and support the skin’s natural renewal process so you can enjoy Results Without Compromise. Recovery kits are available to buy to speed up recovery.
To further optimise recovery, your Medik8 professional will prescribe a personalised CSA regime - combining vitamin C, sunscreen, and vitamin A - ensuring your skin remains protected, resilient and glowing post-treatment.
What results can I expect?
24 hours post-peel: Skin may feel tight and look slightly flushed.
3 days post-peel: Some mild flaking may begin.
Within 1 week: Skin appears clearer, smoother, and more even-toned.
Over a course of 6 peels, results will become even more visibly profound. We recommend taking progress photos to track your transformation.
