The Nutritional Institute

The Nutritional Institute When it comes to food and health, we aim to guide you towards self-empowerment. Our approach is grounded, nourishing, balanced, and unique to you.

The Nutritional Institute is about food and lifestyle education. Gone are the days of dieting and the yo-yoing of mind and body. Instead, we wish to help you transition into a cleaner, healthier way of eating for the rest of your life. With a strong focus on your genetic uniqueness, we will guide you towards wholesome nutrition and lifestyle habits. Participants under our guidance have access to a full spectrum of nutritious foods without unnecessary restrictions. Your experience will change the way think about and relate to food and your daily living. When it comes to food and health, we aim to guide you towards self-empowerment, as opposed to being reliant on a particular product or service. There is no approach out there like this. It is grounded. It is unique to you. It is nourishing and balanced. This is real life. We recognise that the body has an innate ability to heal if it is given the right ingredients to do so, meaning that we need to pay special attention to the food we eat, the emotions we absorb, and the environmental challenges and stressors met on a daily basis. To stay up-to-date at the Nutritional Institute, we keep one foot in science, while the other foot is firmly planted in the soil, with a hearty focus on traditional practices.

Not all fat is created equally of course. We recommend traditional fat from pasture-raised and wild animal sources such as butter, lard, tallow, suet, duck fat, schmatz, as well as cod liver and skate liver oils. We don't recommend fish oils, only fish liver oils https://bit.ly/avoidfishoil. We also recommend coconut oil, olive oil, and certain brands of red palm oil such as https://bit.ly/redpalmoilrecommendation. We don't recommend avocado oil and include a link that explains why https://www.louisawilliamsnd.com/post/why-i-don-t-recommend-avocado-oil. We also link to our yearly pamphlet with brand recommendations for real food that you can take with you as you shop https://bit.ly/shopwisetraditions. It is sent to all members and available for non-members to purchase for a nominal fee.
