Lymphatic drainage and scar tissue work…..
My client had originally booked in for lymphatic drainage with sculpting but during the consultation we decided it would be better to do some scar tissue massage, myofascial release and lymphatic drainage due to having a tummy tuck and breast surgery a couple of years prior.
Scars, particularly abdominal scars can influence deeper systems. Restrictions in fascia can affect core function, breathing patterns, digestion and posture, as fascia is a continuous connective network throughout the body.
Gentle, consistent scar massage helps the body move from a protective, restricted state into one where tissues can adapt, glide and communicate more effectively.
Healing isn’t about forcing tissue.
It’s about guiding the body to reorganise itself in a healthier way. When there is a scar, for homeostasis in the body - we always work with it.
This treatment is suitable for clients minimum of 6 weeks post op and great for c section scars too❤️✨
