5-6 weeks post op total hip replacement 😊

Following a very positive physio assessment, I was back riding my horse after 5 weeks completely pain free 💪🏻
I’m walking my dogs around the countryside and building up my strength every day.
I continue with the cryotherapy every other day which is really helping with my rehab 🤩
I’ve got a follow up appointment with the orthopaedic consultant who carried out my surgery this week so I’ll keep you posted 😁

Week 4 Post Op
Total Hip Replacement 😁

Absolutely delighted with my progress so far.
I can now walk my dogs on a decent walk around the countryside 🙌🏻
I’m back doing jobs at the stables and walking up to the field (which is a fair old hike 😳 uphill to see my girl 💪🏻
I’m not needing any analgesia now which I’m so happy about 😊

I’m really looking forward to my physio assessment this Wednesday and hoping for some more positive news 🤞

I’m continuing with the cryotherapy treatment of course as this is definitely helping with my recovery ❤️‍🩹

Well it’s 3 weeks since my total hip replacement surgery.
The scar is healing really well and the muscles around my new hip are getting stronger every day.
I’m continuing with daily cryo sessions which is definitely helping with the recovery 😁💪🏻

Well I am 2 weeks post op and yesterday I got my clips removed which was a relief. However, it wasn’t a pleasant experience 😳
Anyway, daily cryo, continuing with my physio exercises is definitely paying off.
I’m able to walk with one crutch now and am feeling much stronger.
I’m only taking paracetamol and ibuprofen occasionally for pain which is very promising 😊
I’ll post more progress next week so keep an eye out on this page.
I will also be back at work from Monday this coming week if you’d like to book an appointment with me 😊

Today I’m undergoing a total hip replacement at last! 😊
I will be closed for 2 weeks following my surgery.
To aid my healing and speed up my recovery, I will be treating myself to cryotherapy on a daily basis.
