Tourette’s Syndrome Awareness 💚
Tourette’s Syndrome is a neurological condition that causes involuntary movements and sounds called tics. It often begins in childhood and can affect people in different ways throughout their lives.
For many people with Tourette’s, the most difficult part isn’t the condition itself – it’s feeling misunderstood, not listened to, or isolated. Simple awareness and kindness from others can make a huge difference.
If you or someone you care about has Tourette’s:
• You are not alone.
• Your experiences are valid and deserve to be heard.
• Support and understanding can make living with tics easier.
Many people with Tourette’s also experience anxiety, ADHD, or OCD, so it’s important that individuals feel safe speaking about their symptoms and mental wellbeing.
