🌍 Safari Adventures at Bagshot Club! 🐘🦒
This week, our Bagshot club members embarked on an unforgettable 2-day safari experience to South Africa – right here at the club!

The days were filled with fun, laughter, and heartwarming reminiscing as we shared stories and memories of past adventures. Our amazing members truly embraced the spirit of the safari, even bringing in their own travel memorabilia to spark conversation and connection.

Thank you to everyone who made this special event such a roaring success! 🦁✨

🐾 A wild day out! Our day club had a fantastic time exploring Marwell Zoo today. From majestic giraffes to cheeky monkeys, there was something amazing around every corner. Big smiles, lots of reminiscing, and even more laughter! 🦒🐒🦓

Monday 21st July at st Martin’s Church Camberley. Join them together for a warm, welcoming setting to share experiences, offer support, and learn more about Alzheimer’s and all types of dementia.

It’s a meaningful evening of connection, understanding, and community — with a free meal provided to all who attend.

Today was all about teamwork, fun, and fresh air!
Both of our clubs came together for a fantastic day out — starting with clay pigeon shooting, followed by a relaxing picnic and some friendly games.
We’re proud to prioritise staff wellbeing, and that means more than just supporting each other. It means making time to connect, recharge, and strengthen the bonds that make our team truly thrive — and in turn, enables us to deliver the best possible care to our members. 💚💪🌿🎯

This week, we showed our appreciation for carers with handmade cards and delicious cookies! 💌🍪
It was a small gesture for the incredible support they give us every day.
The activity sparked heartfelt conversations, and our members expressed just how much the care and kindness they receive truly means to them.

I had the joy of visiting the new venue at High Copse Pavilion for Miriam Grace Day Centre in Shinfield this week.
Miriam Grace offers day care for people with dementia from 10.00 - 4.00, weekdays, and offer a wide variety of games, entertainment, physical exercise, music, cooking...and so much more. There were 15 people there on the day I visited and in addition to the attentive team there was a PAT dog and a 3 year old little girl who was having the best time being tickled by one of the people there for the day!

Our members baked some delicious treats today in our bake off session! Our custard creams and jammy dodgers were definitely worthy of a ‘Hollywood Handshake!’ 🤝

Today we had a wonderful animal therapy session with a special alpaca experience! Our members thoroughly enjoyed learning all about these gentle animals and gained so much from the interaction. A big thank you to Penny Bridge Farm for your warm welcome, guidance, and support—it made the day truly memorable.

Afterwards, we took a relaxing trip to a local airfield where we enjoyed a cup of tea and some delicious cake while watching the planes take off and land—a perfect end to a lovely day!

Have a look at our Wokingham Members enjoying a recent visit from the Royal Collection Trust. We found the talk and virtual tour through Windsor Castle very interesting… our members even looked the part too! 👑 A huge thank you the Royal Collection Trust team!

What a great sports session at our Wokingham Club this morning with Mark from Moveball! Thank you for leading such a fun, inspirational & accessible football inspired session for our members - we all loved it! Would highly recommend Moveball to the local community and we look forward to seeing you at the Club again soon! ⚽️
