Throughout December we’ve been celebrating Finland, and today we were incredibly lucky to enjoy a truly special treat.
Our head chef, Tiina, who is from Finland, spoiled both residents and staff with a delicious Finnish Christmas–themed lunch.

🎅🎄 We held our annual Christmas Market here at Bagshot Gardens Care Home - Avery Collection🎄🎅
We loved celebrating the festive season and welcoming families and friends.

Residents past and present enjoyed browsing the stalls from our local community - thank you so much for joining us and supporting our home.

There was a beautiful gift hamper to win in the raffle and quite a heavy Christmas cake that we had to guess the weight of.

Well done to Ann who won the hamper and Jean who won the cake, with her guess of 2100g, both were shocked that they had won - Jean said “I have not won anything before”- so it was a very special moment!
There was even a reindeer trotting around to see if anyone could guess his name, well done to Jessica - one of our community stall holders, with her guess of peppermint.

Events like this remind us how important togetherness is at this magical time of year ✨

Thank you to the adult choir from Hall Grove school for joining us and sharing their time and talent with our residents.
We all gathered round the Christmas tree to enjoy their carol service and were feeling very festive as we sang and clapped along to the beautiful traditional songs.

It’s less than a week until our Christmas market here at Bagshot Gardens care home.
We can’t wait to get festive with all our friends and families.
Thank you to all the stall holders confirming their attendance - including: personal gifting, jewellery, tropics skincare, crochet and knitted items, Christmas cards, raffle, guess the weight of the cake and name the teddy!!

We’ve had a busy day today - some of our residents got competitive with a game of scrabble, others enjoyed a game of boules and a couple also had time to make some Christmas decorations with the guidance of Kayleigh from
We are definitely feeling the festive spirit here and looking forward to all the exciting activities we have planned for the rest of December!

Thank you to Marc, Rob and Rachel from the hospital at home team frimley for their care and support they give to our residents.
We took 5 minutes out of their busy day and enjoyed a well earned cup of tea and a mince pie!
