We rolled out the red carpet and brought a touch of magic to our lovely residents yesterday with our Hollywood Day!

Feathers, fedoras, and fabulous poses were the order of the day as we paid tribute to the golden era of film. Channelling the charm of Ginger Rogers, Fred Astaire, and all the icons of classic cinema.

Huge thanks to our wonderful team for bringing the sparkle and to our residents for absolutely stealing the show!!

What a trip down memory lane! 🚗
Our residents loved seeing the beautiful vintage vehicles and we even had a surprise visit from a modern Lamborghini that turned heads and sparked big smiles!

Our classic cars event brought back so many wonderful memories for our residents, from the days when cards had character (and no seatbelts) to the joy of Sunday drives.

We asked them what they used to drive, and the stories came pouring out. Our resident Ted proudly shared that he once owned a garage in Windsor, selling Italian Fiats!

A huge thank you to Roger and Dave for making our car enthusiasts’ day ☺️

Our Lady Diana Fashion Show! ✨👑

What a fabulous afternoon we had celebrating timeless style and elegance at our Fashion Show in honour of the late Princess Diana. Our very own supermodels took to the catwalk with flair and fun.

A huge thank you to all our amazing staff participants who brought such creativity and confidence to the runway.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful students of Gordon’s Secondary School for spending the day with us as part of their Making A Difference Day! 🌱

The students brought smiles and meaningful connection as they spent time with our residents, created fun quizzes themed around the 50s and 60s, and got stuck in with some gardening. Together, we planted herbs, vegetables, and colourful flowers- and on our Reminiscence balcony, we symbolically sowed “seeds of friendship.” 🌸

It was a truly special intergenerational experience full of stories and shared memories. We can’t wait to welcome them back again soon!

We enjoyed listening to each others experiences of this beautiful country, Rome and Venice were the top places recommended to visit.
As we reminisced we enjoyed their traditional cuisine, which included pizza, pasta, sharing boards and a refreshing peach Bellini - Bellissimo!!!
Thank you to Yuri Sabatini for entertaining and captivating us at 'our night at the opera', a fabulous finish to the day.

☀️ Summer Fête Fun! 🎉
Last Friday, we made the most of the sunshine with a fantastic summer fête! Residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon filled with garden games (yes, sponge throwing included!), magic tricks and a beautiful harp performance by Francisco - who nearly lulled us into a post-nibble afternoon nap🎵

Summer is off to a bright and joyful start!🌼

It was a pleasure for us to sponsor and marshall at the annual Bracknell Samaritans Run .
A huge well done to Gill Bonham from Ascot Grange Care Home - Avery Collection for running the 5k, the sun was beating down, but it didn’t stop her, or the other runners in completing the course and supporting this crucial charity!
This is the main fundraising event of the year for the Samaritans Bracknell and we are very proud that we could be part of it!

There’s always next year if anyone would like to join!!

Our lovely residents enjoyed a fabulous garden party themed for Ascot Ladies Day – complete with fancy hats, bubbles, and a visit from our beautiful equine friends, Love Joy & Kevin! 💐👗

Cheers to a sparkling afternoon full of sunshine and style.💖🏇 We didn’t place any real bets, but if smiles were currency, our residents backed a winner!
