as a thank you for your support last year. I also want to help you get 2026 off to a great start. So here are 5 positive affirmations for you. These work best if you say them every day and say them out loud. Say them as though they are already happening. You can then start to notice the changes in how you treat yourself and how much better you feel. Please share this with family & friends who could also benefit xx
The theory of affirmations
I am
Your subconscious mind relies on input to decide who you are. It is never dormant. It waits for directions. The more times you say “I am”, the more your subconscious mind uses this to create your identity. In turn, your identity creates your reality.
Repetition
The brain is not wired to seek truth. It is wired to detect patterns. Repetitive phrases are patterns. According to neuroscience, the more a phrase is repeated, the more likely it is that the brain will accept it. It doesn’t matter if it’s factually correct or not.
Repeated thoughts strengthen neural pathways as patterns. Over time, this can turn false ideas into deeply held beliefs. If there is conflict between these beliefs and what you experience, the brain begins to filter information. It will ignore facts that contradict your repeated thoughts. Facts that match will be amplified. Eventually, what you tell yourself becomes your reality.
