I hope nobody saw me leaving the treatment room in the storm 🤣

I was determined to carry everything to the car in one go. So grabbed my bags and couch roll and signboard and made a run for it with a blanket over my head.

The blanket immediately fell off into the flood water and I screamed all the way to my car as the hail stones hit me in the face. It’s washed all the wording off my sign as well, as it’s chalk. Epic fail ⛈️

Did you know that crying activates your parasympathetic nervous system? This is the part of your body that helps you
maintain homeostasis (helps regulate heart rate, blood pressure, respiration and metabolism - keeping the body in balance). After a few minutes of crying, your nervous system should start to become more regulated. Crying is a natural way to self soothe and feel better. So if you’ve had a crap day and feel like crying - go ahead!
If a child is upset, please avoid saying “don’t cry”. Crying is a natural emotional response and nature knows best.

Well it’s back to work for me after some considerable time out, to celebrate a certain milestone birthday. I’ve had an absolute blast with a trip to the big Apple, partying with family & old friends and a glamping trip full of surprises. I even had time for some self-care with a new exercise group and of course - a massage. I am a new woman now. Completely reset and ready to take on all your aches & pains and emotional baggage that is camping out in your body! I am kicking off with 6 treatments tomorrow. Hope to see some of you in the therapy room soon 💕
