For our scheduled staff training afternoon. Staff will be training off-site today.

⭐️ We are hosting an NHS App session at The Wheatsheaf - Baslow DE45 1SR on Tuesday 9th September starting time 10:30am - 11:30am
All welcome. This session is to help download the NHS APP and provide further information.
As part of the NHS 10 year plan the app is becoming more accessible for patients to view their medical records and view appointments. ⭐️

📢 Bank Holiday Closure – Monday 25th August

Dear Patients,
Baslow Health Centre will be closed on Monday 25th August for the Summer Bank Holiday.
If you require your usual repeat prescription, please allow 3 working days for processing. As Monday is not a working day, please take this into account when ordering.

We kindly ask for your understanding with last-minute requests, as we may not always be able to action these due to stock availability. Our deliveries will resume on Tuesday 26th August.

For urgent medication/medical assistance needs over the weekend, please visit your local Pharmacy or contact NHS 111 for advice. 💊

As always, we are here to support you, but please note that we are unable to fast-track standard repeat prescriptions over the Bank Holiday weekend.

🌟 A Kind Reminder from Baslow Health Centre 🌟

At Baslow Health Centre, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all our patients and staff.

💬 We understand that visiting the GP can sometimes be stressful, especially when you're unwell or worried. Our team is here to help, and we always aim to treat everyone with kindness and respect.

🙏 In return, we kindly ask that all patients treat our staff with the same courtesy. We have a zero tolerance policy towards any form of abuse, aggression, or threatening behaviour—whether in person, over the phone, or online. Unfortunately there have been a recent series of events that have resulted in this post.

👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ Our staff work hard every day to support your health and wellbeing. Let’s work together to keep our practice a positive and respectful place for everyone.

We wish to offer thanks to all patients who completed the annual GP patient survey 2025.

We would like to share our results from this survey as these surveys are utilised to offer anonymous feedback. This feedback can be used to offer postive feedback and areas patients may feel require attention from the Practice.

We are pleased to share our statistics have been listed above the national average 🙌🏻

📎 Area’s we wish to look at from the report - our Practice website. Our new website has changed format which can take some time getting used to. We will aim to offer more accessible improvements.

🩺 Thank you to those who attended our Open Day today at the Practice - we were grateful to have the Ice Cream van with warm weather today ☀️🍦

We will have our new practice leaflets with all the local services information you may need at the Practice for you to take away 🌟

📢 Reminder to all patients on Wednesday 14th May the practice is closed for prescription and queries from 1pm as this is our usual practice scheduled training afternoon.
However we are OPEN for our scheduled ‘ OPEN DAY’ patients are welcome to visit the stalls in the car park there will be local organisations handing on leaflets and offering resourceful information - we look forward to seeing you there! 😊☀️
