Next kids’ sewing session is 6th July and I have a few spaces left in the 3-4.30 class!
We’re making fabric flowers brooches and hair ties and it’s a hand sewing lesson (no machines)
Skills covered:
🌺 Threading a needle
🌺 Tying knots
🌺 Gathering stitches
🌺 Sewing a button
🌺 Making your own pattern piece to take home
🌺 Adding a brooch pin/hair tie.

These are a super fun and versatile project, so lots of room for customising. Each person should get to make 2

Sewing Social 🧵🪡

This months social is on 22nd June 9.30-12.30 at Weston Village Hall. There’s plenty of parking and easy access to transport your machine from the car to the hall.
The Social is £8 per person
Lesson is £15 per person, on so both for £20.
If you didn’t start your cushion last month, then you can use the first half of Sewing Social to catch up

Half term sewing part one! (And yes I’m running late to post these 😂)

The lovely came over to make two beautiful pairs of shorts for her very lucky niece 😊
This was Chloe’s second workshop. Her niece loved the leggings that she originally made so much that she asked for shorts next. Hope she loved them! 🥰

A couple of overlocker workshops coming up! 🧵🪡
It’s been ages since I run these and I’m so excited to bring them back 😊
There will be time at the beginning to get to know the overlocker (so don’t worry if you’ve never used one before).
These trousers can be cut as leggings/ harems/ slim or loose fit (even cut for cloth nappies!)
Adult/ children’s/ teen sizes available.
I only have one place left on each of these workshops (unless you’re happy to share an overlocker) and places tend to go quickly x
