Grief is not loud, it whispers,
in the spaces where laughter once lived.
It lingers in the scent of a sweater,
in the echo of a voice now still.

It walks beside us, unseen,
a shadow stitched to memory’s thread.
Not asking to be fixed or forgotten,
just held gently, and heard.

Some days it softens,
like mist on morning skin.
Other days, it roars like a storm,
we learn to breathe within.

But always, it is love—
in its most aching form.
Proof that what we lost
was deeply, beautifully ours.

On 23rd August, Wendy Jackson, our wonderful Funeral Arranger from the Stevenage branch joined Court - Runwood Homes Senior Living for their Summer Fete.
Wendy ran a fun-filled "Name the Teddy" competition, bringing smiles and a bit of friendly guessing to the day!

👏 A huge well done to Wisden Court for raising over £480, a fantastic achievement that shows the power of community and care.
