With homes in Bedford, Luton, Dunstable, Letchworth, Baldock and Sandy, our caring team provides personal, professional help when you need it most. Through our work as Community Champions we hope to challenge and change out of date negative perceptions of funeral directors by working closely with the communities in which we work. We are more than just a funeral director and have been a family business for over 330 years. We are dedicated to making a difficult time that little bit easier and carry our philosophy that every life is unique in every aspect of our lives. We intend to make a valuable contribution to our local communities and to continue to break down the taboo’s surrounding the work of a funeral director.

Four flower arrangements on the table by 11 o'clock and none of us could quite believe we'd made them.

Janet brought the flowers and the scissors. She's one of our regulars. Sat us all down, talked us through it, and by the end of the morning the whole place smelled like a garden.

Sally wanted to see it through.

For years, she helped families as a funeral arranger. Right up to the day of the funeral.
But her role ended there.

She wanted to be there for the whole journey.

So she trained as a funeral conductor. Then became a funeral director.
Now she's there from the first phone call to the final goodbye.

She knows what families need because she's been there herself.

Loss taught her that guidance matters. Not just on the day. Every step of the way.

After work, you'll find her on the river or out with friends.
Or disappeared completely, lost in an audiobook.

Some days you need people.
