I’m hosting a watercolour and yoga workshop this month in Letchworth at Wedoyoga.

You’ll get to make you’re very own star sign watercolour as well as do an energising flow class based on the Aries zodiac sign. I’ll also be giving you power poses to take home about your own personal star sign. Spaces are limited so be sure to sign up soon!

I'm teaching a free yoga class this weekend in Letchworth for the launch of the Wedoyoga Studio! My class is already halfway booked and I'm getting very excited. Hopefully I'll see some of you there. If you want to book in, you can search for 'yoga' in Letchworth on the mindbody app and find my class or go to https://www.wedoyoga.co.uk/pages/our-schedule and find me on the schedule. I'm on at 10:45am on the 15th of March. 😁

Getting your yoga in at home is one of the hardest aspects of my practice. A lot of people assume I do it everyday (I don’t) and also want to know how I get it done - which is why I’m putting together some tips for you. Here’s the first of the series - what you should do the night before for a morning practice - which I highly recommend for midweek practice. Let me know if you try this and how you get on.

I’ve just finished a bit of sketching during my break. Chrysanthemums are so seriously hard to draw, but they’re beautiful and it’s great to spend time studying them because you see all the details and imperfections. It made me think that I probably spend more time looking at my imperfections when others see the whole package. Just like I do when I look at a flower. Just something to think about. 🌻🌼🌸

This spoke to me this morning. It’s by and I found it via Pinterest so I hope she doesn’t mind that I share it here. It’s the perfect mantra for me today.
I’d love to hear yours so comment below if you know some good ones. 🧘🏻‍♀️

Had a rather trying moment yesterday and used watercolouring to keep me grounded in the moment.
If you’re a worrier and have a tendency to catastrophise things I can highly recommend a bit of art therapy. Like yoga, it doesn’t matter what shapes you make as long as you stay in the moment.

I’m so sorry but tonight’s class at 8:15pm is closed due to illness. I hope you all have a lovely evening of rest. I had planned a lovely dedication practice so now that you have the time tonight maybe set aside a bit of your time to send a bit of love and gratitude to people you know.
🙏🏼 Namaste and I hope to see you soon xx

I’ve been thinking about the lesson plan tomorrow and working through it. I just can’t seem to make the flow happen like I usually do. I went through my inspiration board and saw this quote and it really spoke to me. Sometimes what we need isn’t persistent work and “ploughing through” to finish. Sometimes it’s setting down the pen, closing he book, and realising that the thing you need most in this moment is to enjoy the drained and tired mind. What it needs most now is to rest and restore. So with that, I have great news - tomorrows class is a slower paced restorative flow. Get ready for a good night’s sleep 😴
