Like every year of my life, 2025 has been amazing and challenging in equal measure. Once again, the past year has taught me some important things about the life I want, and how to be my happiest self, while also reminding me of lots of things I am ready to let go of.
What I’m leaving behind in 2025…
Being stressed all the time!
The last 5-10 years of my life have been unavoidably high in stress, in many ways but, starting the year burnt out made me re-evaluate all the additional sources of stress I pile on myself. I have finally learnt to let these go and live, work and love, according to what works best for me.
The news and politics.
I feel things deeply and find the weight of the worlds' suffering too much to carry around these days. When it comes to things I have no control over, I consciously tune out to protect my limited resources, for when there is some way I can have a positive impact.
Chasing redundant life goals.
We carry the idea of the perfect life, home, job or salary with us for decades, without thinking twice about whether this is what we really want today. Striving for old goals makes us miserable, and also means you don’t stop to notice and appreciate everything we’ve already achieved!
What I’m taking with me in 2026…
Putting my health first.
Don't get me wrong, I still don't get it right everyday but I know that prioritising health and happiness over profits, other people's opinions and unrealistic expectations, allows me to show up for you and myself in the best way possible.

This year, I have managed to find the balance between work, life, rest and play so, I now only invest my energy in the things I know will nourish me and allow me to wake up happy, energised and excited for what lies ahead.
My HRT - lol - no seriously!
Early onset perimenopausal made me consider ending my life, my relationship and quit the career I love. It’s serious and you do not have to suffer!
