Everyone meet Gus! He’s the resident cat over Hub 😻

I feel like he needs an introduction seeing as he always crashes my classes when filming 😅 Usually found showing his version of a down dog or lounging next to my mat!

3 facts about Gus;
1) he’s more like a dog - he plays fetch and comes to meet you at the front door when you get home!
2) he loves his scran, will eat everything (which is why he’s on a diet!)
3) he has loads of nicknames - Gustavo, Mr Man, Gustopher, baby man, Gusgus 😂

Hello! 🙋🏻‍♀️

It’s been a while since I posted on here, so I return with a selfie of me out a run in the sun to give a lil update! 🌞

After my wedding I took a little yoga teaching hiatus, but I’m back - woo!!

I’m absolutely delighted to be covering for my no.1 gal Cha while she is off on maternity leave. I will be teaching every second Wednesday from 7pm -8pm. I’ll be sharing this class with .chittick.yoga doing alternate weeks ☺️ Everyone welcome and if you aren’t a member of the gym, you can still pay to drop in to an individual class!

Secondly, is launching the new Dynamique Hub where I’ll be teaching online, so you can join me there too! ❤️

Back after 2 week summer holiday from teaching and looking forward to getting back to my classes! New block starts this week, 2 classes a week for 4 weeks 💖

Good morning and happy Monday!! 🌞🌞

Woken up this morning with some very achy legs after climbing 2 Munro’s yesterday, but absolutely worth it. There is no better feeling than being outside, adventuring all day ⛰ we are so lucky to have mountains like these on our doorstep in Scotland!!

Definitely going to need my yoga today to stretch off the body after my hike! The last week of this block starts tonight, before a 2 week summer holiday and then back to it 🤩

I would love to have more people join me for my next block, it will start week commencing 9th August, so if you’re interested - let me know. The more yogi’s the better 💛💛💛

Feeling full of positivity and energy starting a new week after a day being outside and feeling the sun on my face ☀️

This crazy yogi is ready for BLOCK 11 (!!!) starting on Monday 🤩

I can’t actually believe it’s been almost a year since I started teaching online, I love my online crew and so enjoy being able to teach from my living room!

Anyone else absolutely loving that we can start to see the evenings getting that little bit lighter? Hope at the end of a long & dark winter that spring is finally on the way 😂

I think this time of year can be so hard, January is usually a long slog but I think January 2021 was next level...

It’s been so important to me this month to keep my mind healthy, try to keep up the positive energy and focus on moving forward. My top 3 things I commit to doing each week to keep me feeling zen 🧘🏽‍♀️

1) Keep connected. Speaking to friends & family as much as I can, not keeping in when you feel 💩 and talking out how you feel to the people who care. Even if it is through messages or FaceTime!

2) Have a bath 🛀. This is my ultimate me time, super chill and always helps me relax and take my mind away from any stresses! I definitely have at least 3 a week!

3) Get Outside! Walking with friends and keeping my head focussed on my weekly cold water dip, this is a non negotiable for me now. I promise nothing quite brings you out of your head and into the present like dunking yourself in an Icy loch 🤣❄️

I guess what I’m getting at with this long caption, is don’t beat yourself up if you’re having a tough time, accept where you’re at and do what you know you can to help yourself. Be kind to others and know you probably aren’t on your own ❤️

The breath is such an important part of yoga, for me it goes way above the asana (physical) side of yoga.

What I love about the breath, is that it’s kinda like it has secret powers. You can learn to manage your bodies responses through managing your breath. Pranayama, as it’s called in yoga - breath practice.

As most people know, I’m an outdoor gal - at my happiest when adventuring outside and this year I have found a new love for wild swimming. As we go into the winter, it is very much cold water swimming/dipping and cold water therapy. The benefits of it are incredible, but what I love is that when I am in the cold water - it’s breath management that helps the body stay calm. It’s truly incredible what we can teach our bodies to do by diving deeper and learning about something we do all day, everyday without even thinking!? - breathing!

Wim Hof’s breathing practices are amazing and it’s no wonder as a yoga teacher that I have found a new love for this outdoor activity. Give me all of that magical breath power 🌊🤍🌊🤍🌊

The Third Eye Chakra 🔮🕉

Tonight’s class focussed on this chakra, working on balance and quietening the mind. Single point of focus - something which needs a lot of practice. This chakra is particularly poignant for meditation and one that I love. Love teaching a class with lots of balances and focus 💜💜💜
