Tenpin Table Bowling! Our residents, daycare and staff had a blast bowling today! Well done Cheryl for winning the game and rolling the only spare! We used a makeshift crisp box bowling alley, that needs redesigned and fancied up, but we had such a laugh and had so much fun.

We welcomed Clare Reynolds again this week and had a Valentines Day inspired sing-along. Love was certainly in the air!

Fun afternoon spent at Crafts and Things (Glencoe) for a tea, coffee and yummy cake. Our residents and staff had a fantastic time!

Our 2026 Kurling Champion is now underway and this week we had not one, but two Golden Push Winners (the player pushed their disk directly over the bullseye!) Well done to Morag and Keith for their amazing pushes.

We've been celebrating Rabbie Burn all this week ending off with our Burn's Night Supper. Massive thank you to Michael Scott and Bill Strachan. Michael came in to play the bagpipes for us and pipe in the haggis, while Bill, did the Address to the Haggis.
Our residents then enjoyed a friendly game of Haggis Hurling. Congratulation to Jean Coke for winning the game.

**Please note that no haggises were hurt in the Haggis Hurling, as we used bean bags instead of fresh haggises.

We've had a very busy week leading up to our Burn's Night Lunch tomorrow. It began with making table decorations early in the week, then Phil, Jan and Tony performed Scottish Traditional songs for us yesterday. Finally, today we made cheese straws, and while they were in the oven baking we had our Australian Activity Coordinator read Robert Burns poetry and attempt to read Scots - with limited success. The residents were kind in their critique... and very patient.
