Part-time Medical Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join Ballater Clinic. We are looking to recruit an additional team member to work within reception. Applicants should be enthusiastic, reliable with good interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team. The successful candidate will understand the importance of confidentiality, be well organised and be able to prioritise your workload. Experience within the NHS would be desirable although not essential, as full training will be given. Some flexibility will be required to cover additional hours for annual leave and sickness cover within the team.

Duties will include general administration, call handling, data entry, care navigation and prescriptions.

16 hours per week.

Salary dependent on experience.

While screening can improve quality of life and prevent deaths through early diagnosis, no test is 100% accurate. There are risks involved in some types of screening.

It can be challenging to work out if your child is too unwell for school. The following provides some useful pointers.
If in doubt call the clinic or 111 for advice.

Find out when it's best to keep your sick child at home and when it's OK to send them to school or nursery.

Our e-consult service will continue to be available although requests will not be answered on the same day.
