Just a wee note as we enter the return to school season.
Socials will be awash with the happiest of happy back to School pics - gorgeous and heartwarming as these are, recognise them as deftly choreographed happiness bursts which leave out the chaos, stress and tears that are the reality of settling kids and their grown ups into a new routine.
I can assure you that even now, with older kids, I'll still be feeling the pinch until around Halloween. A snapshot from my life in the first few weeks of a new school term would be more glum than glowy. I didn't grow up in a capture every moment generation. There's freedom in that. But it's also really easy to believe that you are lesser because glimpses from your home aren't Instagram happy.
For your head's sake and for your heart's sake, just let it all go. Awesome if it's all fab and your house is running like a well oiled, super in tune machine. Also awesome, if everyone's out the door reasonably on time, there was only one meltdown, and there's not a shouting match in the car.
Understand your own reality before you wilt under the 'perfection' of others. X

It's taken me an age to work up to this, but with your encouragement, I'm doing it. As of September, there will be a £5 increase in the price of Reflexology. All prices are listed in the flyer. Newbies please note, treatments are at least an hour long ( I tend to go over) and are fully tailored to your needs in that moment.
Anyways, I could list the reasons for the price change, but you all know the score, utilities, couch roll, wax, oils....everything has gone up in price.
I would encourage everyone running a business from home to resist the idea that you can afford to be cheaper - that voice has been in my head a long time! But 10 years down the line, I'm trying to be wiser, and I'm listening to you when you tell me to put value on myself- thank you.
If the price change proves too much for you, just let me know. We're all in this together, and we can stay afloat by being honest about what we can afford.
Your support means the world. I'm posting this and then burying my head!

Reflexology and Reiki are a treat as a one-off and a curative, balancing revelation as a regular part of your life.
Lots of you have come over to the holistic side this summer. And my regulars now just blend sessions into their lives as a pick me up, a release, a way to alleviate symptoms...there are so many stories, the trick is to bring a wee bit of magic into the day-to-day.
