🎄12 days of Christmas stories - day 12 🎄

That night, as Bibble joined the other elves preparing Santa’s sleigh, he proudly wore his repaired green sock. With each step, its bells shimmered and chimed like twinkling stars.
Santa glanced down and smiled. “Sounds like you’re ready for Christmas Eve, Bibble.”
“I am,” Bibble said, standing a little straighter.
His sock was warm, sparkly, and safe. And he knew that sometimes—even lost things could lead to magical adventures.

🎄12 days of Christmas stories - day 11 🎄

Bibble returned to the mice with a tiny new sock he’d asked Mrs. Claus to knit—bright red, fluffy, and the perfect size for mouse families.
“For you,” he said. “So you don’t need to borrow mine again.”
The baby mice squeaked joyfully and immediately burrowed into the cozy sock. Mama Mouse hugged Bibble’s boot in gratitude.
Bibble felt taller than a Christmas tree.

🎄12 days of Christmas stories - day 10 🎄

Back at the workshop, Mrs. Claus clucked her tongue softly while examining the nibble-sized holes.
“Oh my, these mice must have been very cold,” she chuckled.
She threaded her needle with shimmering silver thread and patched each hole with careful, loving stitches. Then she added a little extra sparkle.
“For holiday bravery,” she said with a wink.
Bibble’s heart felt warm enough to melt a snowflake.

🎄12 days of Christmas stories - day 9 🎄

Thinking fast, Bibble grabbed a giant striped candy cane decoration stuck in the snow. Using it like a hook, he slid onto his belly and pushed himself toward the edge of the pond.
The ice creaked ominously. Bibble didn’t dare step onto it, but he stretched the candy cane stick as far as his arms allowed.
“Come on… come on…”
With a swift flick, he hooked the toe of the sock and dragged it across the slippery surface just as the ice cracked open behind it.
He collapsed backward into the snow, hugging the sock tightly. “Never scare me like that again,” he whispered.

🎄12 days of Christmas stories - Chapter 8: A Sock in Danger 🎄

Bibble rushed toward the hill and immediately saw the problem. His beloved green sock was sliding down the icy slope, jingling faintly as it picked up speed.
“Oh no, no, no!” he cried, sprinting toward it.
The sock skidded over the edge of the hill and plopped onto the frozen pond below. Worse—thin cracks were starting to spread across the ice.
“Hang on!” Bibble shouted, as though the sock could hear him.

Mama Mouse scrambled forward and squeaked an explanation, which Bibble understood perfectly—elves knew the language of all small Christmas creatures.
“We’re sorry!” she squeaked. “The babies were cold! We saw your sock hanging off your bed, and it was so warm and soft. We only meant to borrow it.”
Bibble’s heart softened. He imagined tiny mice snuggling inside his sock, bells jingling softly with every wiggle.
“It’s okay,” he said gently. “But do you still have it?”
Mama Mouse pointed a tiny paw toward the hill.
