I really do appreciate when a client is willing to share how therapy worked out for them. It goes without saying that lots of my clients prefer to remain anonymous. But if a few words from them encourages someone else to reach out, well then that's great 😊

Mel Robbins - I sing this lady's praises regularly. She really only came into her own in her 50's but wow has she nailed mental health!

'Let them' such a freeing way to go through life!

Be careful who you allow into your life.

Recently, I've experienced the negative side of this with people I thought had only good intentions.

Wolves most definitely come dressed as sheep.

These people should not mistake kindness for weakness. Trust your gut! It's rarely wrong 🖤

So after being fully dismantled two weeks ago. The Therapy 101 cabin is back together and even better, in its new location.

It's had a little makeover and looks great! My husband and his team worked tirelessly to meet tonight's deadline. I'm very grateful 🙏

I'm so excited to welcome everyone tomorrow in this very peaceful place.

Sessions are nearly full for next week, but I will do my best to accommodate anyone in need.

Our partners are likely to be the people we spend most of our time with. Therefore, they'll naturally be likely to get right on our last nerve at times, too.

Over the years, I've learned to think this.....If my husband somehow wasn't here tomorrow, would this argument be important at all? Would the harsh comment I want to make be a good memory of our last words?

For me, the answer is "Definitely not!"

Let's remember why we love the person we are with and choose kind words for them. Congratulate their mini wins, offer lots of compliments, and treat each other with the respect you both deserve.

Life is far too short to play the one-upmanship game. No one wins this game.

I hope all my dad clients have had the best day today.....the nearly dads, actual dads, single dads and step dads.

When you make time for your own mental health, you are paying it forward, and teaching your sons and daughters that it's acceptable to do the same, should they ever need to.
